I was referred by my primary dentist regarding getting some implants. My regular dentist recommended Eric Tsai very highly. I tried to schedule an appointment for a consultation and evaluation through his website and entered the name of the referring dentist and what my needs were. I received a call from his office later in the day and the person who called asked me for all the information I had submitted online. I was in my car and I referred back to the information submitted and that I would prefer to discuss my situation with the dentist after my exam. I was disappointed that the person calling didn't read my submission and I felt why did the online site ask for it if they were not going to look at it. When I said I would wait to review everything with the dentist because I didn't want to have to repeat everything again when I met with him, she said she would have someone call and hung up. Hanging up caught me totally off guard. Based on this call, I posted a 3 star review relaying my experience and later that evening the dentist called me directly. He explained that the call had been recorded (was not disclosed that it was being recorded during the call) and that his office person handled the call in appropriately and he apologized. Based on my conversation, the dentist and I agreed that someone from his staff would reach out to me to schedule an appointment (our conversation was after office hours) and that maybe with next Monday being a holiday (Mondays is when he did his consults in Walnut Creek), that something could be set up for Thursday in his Danville office. Again this was last Thursday evening. As a gesture of good faith, I removed my review, hoping for a fresh start. As of today, three business days later, no one has reached out to me. When looking for someone to perform oral surgery, one of the most important things is trust. But when your first impression is a rude office staff person (who the dentist acknowledged responded poorly) then there is no follow up when the dentist said someone would, it erodes your trust in the care and level of communication the office will give you. It shouldn't be so difficult, just read what I sent you can call back when you say you will. It's just respect. Again, I cannot speak to the dentist's skill or ability, but as a business owner myself, I don't think this is how you build a loyal client base. I guess that is why the Perioperative programs at Stanford include MBA classes to teach Doctors the business side of a practice.

Their facility is clean, modern, and very high-tech. There's a lot of effort to ensure patient comfort and wellbeing. I didn't realize how outdated my previous dentist's tech was until I came here... And also realized how much smoother the teeth cleaning experience could be. Each time I've visited, the staff are professional, kind, and welcoming. Tylenol only helped 50% of the pain and I hard time sleeping. There was no cell service at the camping site. Upon my return back home, I did not hesitate to call Dr. Lacrampe's office. Marie, the receptionist, was able to make an appointment the following week. Thank you for the great customer service for a semi-emergency visit. I knew the tooth needed to be extracted. At my appointment, Dr. Lacrampe examined the back tooth and agreed it needed to be removed. Apparently, I had a big abscess, and my tooth was still loose. He and his SUPER-STAR assistant, Tracy, were able to help calm my anxiety. I hate getting shots. Tracy held my hand to comfort me. Both DR. And Tracy distracted me by talking about life while the procedure was being done. P.S. I'm not sure why recently a few YELPERS gave Dr. Lacrample's office low reviews. Sometimes people are just complainers. As an Elite YELPER, I believe in honesty and fair reviews.

Being a receptionist is to represent the image of the company and it's the first impression give to your patients to make the patients feel like the office is a comfortable and a pleasant office environment. I had 2 implant/crowns installed by Dr. Barmby in September 2019. In April 2022, during a tooth…read morecleaning by my regular dentist, they noticed that one of the crowns was loose. They took an x-ray which also revealed a cavity on the side of the tooth next to the crown. My dentist suggested I go back to Dr. Barmby to get the screw tightened. He also sent to Dr. Barmby's office an x-ray with a request to fill the cavity while the crown was off (since the cavity is near the gum line). Sometime between 2019 and 2022, Dr. Florencio bought Dr. Barmby's practice so I saw him. Not only did he charge me $264 to tighten the screw (which most likely came loose because it was not tightened properly in the first place) but he ignored my dentist's request to fill the cavity while the crown was off. When I called Dr. Florencio after to ask why he ignored the request to fill the cavity, he became very defensive and argumentative and refused to correct the oversight on his part.
