Then the Clinic he was working at closed. He opened his first Clinic in Fort Mill sc. I believe Baxter hood. He had a great office assistant, can't remember her name. This is during COVID 19. She was then on a computer promoter and very intelligent and efficient. Then he moved to a different location in Baxter Hood. And had excellent administration. At one point Dr Shah came in to help the staff. She is very intelligent and respectful of you as a client. That being said I had several phone visits and was not in actual office. Everything is fine. Then when he hired the front office staff in Tega Cay SC and i had someone at the office put in my prescription for Dr Shah it was the worst experience ever. I was not getting actual dose Dr Shah had prescribed for me, but what this assistant decided i should be prescribed. I then had severe panic attacks and tried to leave a message for Dr Shah and he acted like he never knew. Now I had to cancel my upcoming appointment due to hospitalized for pneumonia and the office staff refused to cancel and reschedule when i was in the clear from pneumonia. All i want is to let Dr Shah know. His front office staff is giving me medical advice and telling me to take a medicine the ER doctors told me not to take. They are saying take the medicine and not let me get a word in. I am giving Dr Shah 1 more chance to come to conclusion as what and who are advising his patient on medical care without a license. ​

Sat in waiting area for about 30 minutes, was told "counselor" was with a client. Dawn (counselor) came out and said she didn't know we were there. Kept client for about 12 minutes. When I asked why the short session, was told she wasn't prepared with art tools or magazines she had planned to use and we wouldn't be billed for the session. Next appointment, front desk manager said she would have to text Dawn (counselor) because she didn't know if she was coming in. We had an appointment! Counselor came in about 10 minutes after appointment time, with no apology for being late. The most unprofessional and disrespectful "healthcare" business I have ever encountered. Leading cause of death between ages of 10-14 is suicide. So many young people in need of help with life issues, ACEs ("counselor" didn't even know what the acronym stood for). Alarming to know that at place of business such as this is licensed as offering counseling services. It's sad and should be illegal. Medicare machine?

I phoned to notify that we would be late and, the call went to voice mail...left a message that I would be about 15 minutes late. Upon arrival we were denied the appointment because we were 2 minutes too late. The staff was extremely efficient at smugly notifying me that my son had already been billed for the "missed appointment." The office was very difficult to locate, which added to the lateness. I asked if we could be seen for part of the session because it was so hard to get in. Denied! I asked for the doctor to call me to discuss and was laughingly told "I'll tell her, but she aint gonna call". I'm making no judgment on the Doctor or her abilities, but her "office staff" is extremely unprofessional, rude and uncaring. People in need should steer clear of this office....

Dr. Brar explained to us that there is no shortcut. There are clinical symptoms that he can help .. but we need to manage the behavioral symptoms at home as per his guidance. It took an year of ups and down but we could see change. His grades were up, self esteem up and he was looking forward to go to school. Dr. Brar supported all throughout. I have not paid this bill yet because of the issues surrounding the appointment. When I arrived, there was confusion about the intake paperwork. I had already completed the questionnaire online, but apparently it did not save in their system. I had no way of knowing that, yet the situation made me feel as if I had somehow wasted their time. The interaction felt uncomfortable and dismissive from that point on. I specifically scheduled an in-person appointment because the instructions I received stated that an in-person visit was required for medication management. However, during the appointment I was told that no controlled medication could be prescribed until labs were completed. This requirement was never mentioned beforehand. As a result, I was billed $500 for an appointment where the expectations and requirements were not communicated clearly ahead of time. The overall experience felt rushed, poorly communicated, and unprofessional. Mental health care should involve transparency, clear expectations, and respect for patients' time and finances. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
