Don't trust him when he gives you the bid. He gave me an estimate for the service and told me he can start In couple of weeks than he changed the price and started asking me $250 for the time he spent to show me the paint colors when I asked him why he changed the estimate price he started saying he is going to file a lien against my property. So please be very careful with this guy. read more

Dwyer Painting really helped us out in a pinch. With very short notice on a holiday week, I learned we needed to finish some painting in order to start another project. The owner Chris came up to our home and personally oversaw the the work of two of his painters. They did an excellent job. Chris was very responsive and just a really nice trustworthy guy. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again, or to recommend his company to our friends or family. read more

We used Chris for the interior painting and kitchen cabinets of our new house. He did an outstanding job! Chris is responsive to questions and a perfectionist of his own work. Our job was large and had an aggressive timeline. He finished on time and did not sacrifice the quality of his work. You will not go wrong selecting him for your project. read more

* I am 65 and have never written a negative review about any business. This one takes the cake! * Beware for this gentleman's ambiguous contracts! He does not write specific details in the job description. * He jacks up the his prices on his invoice. He didn't even state there what was done on the job to justify the higher price, but he almost doubled the original hours on his ambiguous proposal/contract. The invoice was written for indoor work, but it was actually for outdoor window frames, second story trim work and completing the painting of our chimney, both of which required tall ladder work that I am not able to do. * He did not walk the job with the painter and did not give him a plan of action, leaving a major priority of the job incomplete because the work was not planned strategically and the last part could not be masked due to wet paint. The painter told us we would have to get our 8' step ladder and finish up by ourselves. At my age I am not comfortable working from ladders. This was a major frustration for us. * The photo shows part of the work done (and left undone). The painting was done well, and there was no mess left, so that was the one positive about the experience.The other two redacted images show the proposal/contract and the invoice, and they speak for themselves. The invoice shows 19 hours of work. There was no way. Beware--he charges $75/hr for every painter who steps on the property, and transportation and setup times, as well as chit-chatting, are timed, not factored into the rate. He won't tell you about that $75/hr until he hands you the invoice. read more

In fact, figuring out the paint color was actually fun and Chris and his crew had the interior of my office painted in three days, from start to finish. We received a glowing recommendation for Chris Dwyer from another amazing professional (Plumbing Pros). We contacted Chris, he booked an appointment for a bid, and came out in just a few days. His bid was more than reasonable so we contracted with them. Prior to the job, he brought paint samples for us to choose our color. We were very adamant about the color we had in mind (I more than my husband); but, Chris had the patience of a saint..keeping at it until we were able to find a color we liked. We also had some door repairs that he said he would fix. Chris and Steve came the Thursday before starting painting the next Monday so Steve could review the job for pressure washing on Friday. Our house is large (4500 sq feet) even though it is one story and we weren't sure they would be able to paint the entire house in four days. On Monday morning, Chris, Steve, and Jose showed up right on time and worked a long day. They were back Tuesday and, with the same positive professionalism, worked an even longer day...finishing the entire house and chimney...everything except the front door which Chris and Jose finished today. Not only were they among the most professional team we have had the pleasure of working with but our house looks brand new and the color is perfect!! We could not have asked for better service or a better outcome. We are thrilled and will and are happily recommending them to anyone who wants a quality painting job done at a reasonable price by a wonderful team of painters. read more
