So I started my treatment with Dynamic Health and Pain Management a week ago. I learned after 12 years what exactly is causing my unbearable pain in my back and neck. Things that are scary and things I wish I could wake up and not be there. Although I am worried about them, I now have hope! My good friend Dave Mauldin did an interview with them and because of that interview I am now getting the treatments I need for my pain. I have nothing but great things to say about Dynamic Health & Pain Management. I saw them in 2012 and am also a patient now. I have a chronic back condition that will need PT from time to time and I can count on Dynamic Health to play a pivotal role in my recovery when needed. The physical therapy treatments they offer are different than anywhere else I have been to. I was in a lot of pain when I started and after a week or two, I began to notice some improvement. I'm continuing to improve as time goes on and I feel confident I'll be able to get back to a more active lifestyle very soon. In 1999 I suffered a neck injury while playing golf. The pain was so intense, my golfing partner took me to the emergency room. They took x-rays, which showed I had a disc pressing against the nerve. The only thing they did for me was send me home with a prescription for pain medicine and advised me to see my doctor. I followed up with my doctor, but the pain continued and the pain medicine didn't see to help at all. A friend of my son had recently been in a car accident and was treated at Dynamic Health and Pain Management. The doctors and staff at Dynamic Health and Pain Management go above and beyond to make sure that your pain is managed with out narcotics. They will teach you how to heal your body from the inside out. I was having chronic headaches and my arms were going numb, I couldn't even wear my hair in a clip, I'd wake in tears from the pain, I couldn't get through a day without taking way too many OTC pain pills. I had experienced a few car accidents and they had taken a toll on my neck and I was looking at a truly miserable future. DHPM came to my work one day in January 2014 and I have been seeing them ever since. The treatments made sense and were obviously helping and I could see the other patients around me healing as well, it was wonderful. They didn't just take X-rays and lay me on a table and adjust me and send me on my way, I learned to walk with my toes pointed straight in front of me, I learned to improve my balance and I improved the muscle strength in my neck and shoulders which in turn cut down on the headaches. I was in a car accident and had terrible back pain. I avoided going anywhere because I thought chiropractors were kind of sketchy, to be honest. But one day my boyfriend got tired of helping me put my pants on and dragged me to Dynamic Health and Pain Management. OMG, this place. First of all, the assessment appointment is free, which I think should be the case everywhere. Second of all, everyone is super nice, very attentive, and very professional. I never waited longer than 10 minutes, either. Third - and best! - of all, THEY MADE MY PAIN GO AWAY! Over the course of the 2 months I went there, my back pain improved dramatically and is now gone 99.9% of the time. (Does back pain ever really go away once you have it? I kind of don't think so.) If my insurance covered DHPM or I could afford it by myself, you can bet your behind I'd still be going there! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I started going there with less than a month away from doing my first full Marathon in January that I was simply NOT going to miss, no matter what! For months I tried multiple treatments at other places to fix the sharp pain I was having in my hip since Aug. I would get temporary relief from those treatments, but always had set backs or farther set backs when trying to train for my Marathon. I found DHPM and they not only got me pain free for my Marathon (which I just completed in a respectable time for my situation and lack of conditioning due to the injury leading up to it), but I'm still pain free after the Marathon! Which is great because I have a 1/2 marathon scheduled in Feb and another in May. They are out of network for my insurance, so that deductible is high - but worth every penny, in my opinion! I first started to go to DHPM about 4 months ago for treatment for severe headaches and back issues. I had been seeing another chiropractor for over 2 years and never seemed to get any relief for more than a few hours after my visits. The headaches and back pain were affecting my work, my ability to move around without pain, and my ability to finish a round of one of my favorite sports, golf. I cannot stress enough how Dynamic Health Carolinas has given me hope. Everything that you need is in one place. I used to drive all over on different days for x-rays, physical therapy, chiropractor, and medical visits sometimes with months in between. Not anymore! At DHPM they have Wonderful Friendly medical Professionals who are very dedicated to make you WELL !! When I started, I had extreme pain and difficulty walking sitting standing sleeping etc. My L-5 vertebrae was out of alignment ,had small bulging disc in lower back. Now I am greatly improved and continue to get better with regular maintenance adjustments.DHPM saw what the problem was with my back,are very supportive, advised treatment, put me on treatment plan,explaining every step of the way, how the therapies and machines work to make my back better.Not only does DHPM make back adjustments but the treatment plan strengthens the ligaments tendons muscles to help hold the adjustments in place. As a nurse for many years I began experiencing terrible neck pain that was radiating down both my arms and into my hands. I started treatment in March because my parents (Phyllis and Napoleon Davis) suggested I get treatment for some of the pains that I have had. I can honestly say that I noticed a difference within the first week. After my first two treatments, I did not have to wake up in the middle of the night as much due to neck pain. Amazing people, amazing care. I've had chronic back pain and limited range of motion from many years of sports injuries and abuse and finally got to a point where it was hindering my daily lifestyle and working abilities.
