Most PT practices are almost cookie cutter versions of the same thing. They come up with a list of…read morethe same exercises and then have somebody tell you to do them. Fyzical is different. To begin with, they have lots of special equipment for balance and gait training. I've had a lot of PT before and never seen this type of equipment. It has been great for both diagnosing and treating my issues. They can also test my ability and measure my progress. They can even compare it against what is normal for my age range. The other thing that they do differently is that when I walk in and tell them about something I'm having a problem with, they work on it with me. They help find me some exercises that address that specific problem. They aren't tied to an unchanging list of exercises. All of the staff is caring and I'm finally making progress with my gait and balance.

My only reason for not providing a 5 star review is I think they need to increase the staffing for nurses. There were multiple times that the entire NICU had three patients to a nurse and a couple of times it seemed like even the charge nurse had a patient. This may work in other situations but three babies per nurse is unfair to the staff and poses a challenge for providing care. However, the nurses all went above and beyond to make it work. They just shouldn't have to. If the staffing improves to two patients per nurse all the time, I couldn't be happier with this hospital. They worked miracles for my family.
