I have been in contact with Gale for over ten years before getting my puppy all the way through his life. My communication with her has always been very open. I was fortunate enough to call one of the puppies from her my friend for nine years before he left us just this week. Dynamite Danes are just amazing pets. My Duke could not have had a better personality, temperament, or health. Gale kindly invited us to drive over anytime to see the facilities and meet the parents, and strongly encouraged it. She helped with education before, during and after to help select the right match. I drove back a second time(8 hours plus) to pick out my friend on my personality and lifestyle. Upon picking him up on the third trip she had him all ready with documentation. She insisted on keeping her in the loop on how he was doing. It was such a fantastic experience. If you are looking for someone that cares about you and the life you are giving the puppies she provides, then this is the right place. When the time is right for us we will be calling Gale again as she provided more than what I could have asked for in support, but more importantly, a healthy best friend like no other. Dynamite Danes is a breeder that boasts over twenty-three years of Great Dane breeding. Their website shows a very reputable facility. Gale (who runs the facility), was very communicative during our choice and reservation of a blue dane puppy. When my husband and I went to pick up our 7 week old pup, he was full of what she called "puppy pimples" and a scratch on his right eye. When i asked her about the eye, her response was defensive - her vet had checked him out and he was fine, that it must have just occurred and that if it was an issue, he would be in pain. "Then don't take him." and "Just bring him back." were her other respones. We decided we would get him checked out and went ahead and paid her in-full for what she was charging. Our vet looked at him and said the pimples were an infection and gave us an antibiotic, and referred us to an opthomologist for his eye to see if it was damaged for life. I told Gale what the vet said and asked her to help us with the costs of the additional vet bills considering we paid premium dollar for a puppy in optimal health. She refuses. Considering the puppy's 6 week photos show this eye injury, i feel she is a dishonest woman. And because she refuses to make it right by helping to alleviate some of the costs for an injury that happened in her care and didn't tell us before we came to get him (which would have allowed us to decide from there if we wanted him or not), i feel she is dishonest and doesn't stand by her work and reputation. read more

I have 2 very gorgeous Blue Danes that I couldn't be happier with. Thor (10.5) and Skye (7) yes, they are healthy and vibrant. I have followed all the regiments that I was prescribed by Gale with fabulous results. I have 2 gorgeous Danes that render attention everywhere we go. And now I am going to be getting 2 new puppies. We are currently in the process of getting our second puppy from Dynamite Danes. We have been very happy with our current Dane, Brands. He has a great temperament and loves people. This was our first Dane and Gale has been extremely helpful to us. I have contacted her on many occasions to ask questions and for suggestions on raising Brands. We asked if we could mail a dirty tee shirt to Amelia (our puppy) so she would know our sent when we arrived, this request was honored. I could not say enough great things about dynamite danes. Gale was very helpful in the beginning of the process, by answering dozens of my questions and staying in constant communication. When our girl was born we got to see picture of her growth weekly. The best thing about working with Gale is she is so skilled and knowledgeable about the breed- she had so many tips and insight everything from food/feeding, training, and even emotional well being of the animal. Another great thing is since she is so experienced, she truly understands the dogs and their strengths and also challenges an owner may have with a particular dogs personality. My husband and I got our blue Merle puppy, Goliath from Dynamite Danes in May, 2013. He is absolutely the best dog we could have ever asked for! Gale has over 2 decades of experience breeding Danes, and I would say she has done an exceptional job. There are a lot of irresponsible breeders out there, so we wanted to make sure we got our puppy from a reputable breeder. The first time we visited the farm, we knew we had found the perfect breeder. All of her dogs are beautiful and well taken care of. She has been nothing but helpful with all of the questions we've had over the course of the past year or so since we put our name in her waitlist for a puppy. Our beloved yellow Lab "Ranger" was getting up there in age and his health was poor. We felt the urge to have another dog while we still had time with our old friend too. I came across Dynamite Danes and corresponded with Gale (the owner) to ask questions before we made a decision on a breed we'd never had before. She was quick to respond with a lot of helpful information. I mentioned to her that our youngest child who was 5 yrs. old at the time had special needs and we wanted a dog/breed that would be good with him. Turns out Gale is/was a special education teacher and she gave us advice on which gender & personality of pup to adopt when we were ready. We put down a deposit shortly thereafter and actually had Gale recommend a pup for us given her expertise with Danes and children with special needs. When we got to her home to pick up our baby Dane who we named "Khaleesi" she sat with us for quite some time giving us guidance on having and caring for a Dane. We were so interested in her other (older) Danes she gladly took us out to her property and introduced us to our pups father, mother and grandfather! She let us go inside the fence to pet them and let them "lean" on us (ha--as Danes LOVE to do). It was a great experience and all the dogs were awesome and super friendly. When we had a small issue with our dog once we'd had her for awhile (a food aggression issue), Gale talked us through it, and did offer to do whatever she could to make things right if it continued to be a problem, especially with our son. We followed her advice on how to deal with it and it resolved itself quickly. Khaleesi has proven to be a loving, wonderful and protective companion for our child. She keeps him in "check" when they are outside in the yard making sure he doesn't wander (he is autistic). She plays with him all of the time and is SO gentle. Great Danes are said to be perfect "apartment" dogs because they are rather lazy and need little exercise. TRUE STORY! Khaleesi sleeps over half the day away, but she is also very loving and just a wonderful family dog. She turned 3 years old yesterday and we look forward to many years with her in our lives. We lost our Lab "Ranger" 3 weeks after we brought Khaleesi home, so we were thankful to have the love of another pup to help us cope with the pain of our loss. We consider Dynamite Danes a reputable place to adopt a Dane. Gale seems to care about her clients and her dogs. Our personal experience with her was excellent. read more
