I only found out my divorce was dismissed because the letter going to my ex was still sent to my address. No messages, no updates, literally disappeared into thin air. I know my case took longer than expected being my ex outside the country but what kind of lawyer doesn't communicate or follow up with the case?. I paid him retainer fee an additional $600 to continue with the case processing. Not even the decency to let me know if he feels he is not capable or knowledgeable enough to do a Hague convention filing. Divorce is emotionally exhausting but to have a lawyer to literally abandon your case its adds so much mental stress. I will definetly report him to the State Bar of Arizona.
