Perhaps my wife and I picked the wrong day to try this place, because it looked very nice both inside and outside. Or maybe we should have come for lunch instead of the Saturday dinner buffet. But this much is certain : we were very disappointed with our dining experience here; I feel like I am being generous by awarding this place two stars.
First of all the buffet : very few choices, and all but a few dishes looked like leftovers from previous days. None of the items I tried warranted going back for seconds. The price for the buffet is way out of line for the quality of the food. Also, we understand that they must charge money for a glass of water, but 2.40 euros is outrageous (and no free refills either!). More than the memory of the food, what sticks in my mind about this establishment is that we paid almost 5 euros for 0.6 L of tepid water.
Atmosphere was barely tolerable; the temperature inside the dining room must have been at least 30 C (86 F), I can't imagine the kitchen staff working in such conditions. Oh, the kitchen is air-conditioned? Then how about pumping some of the coolness out to your customers, or at least put ice in the drinks! We left sweaty, hungry, and much lighter in the wallet. read more
