I had a blocked toilet and rang out to this joke of a company over the bank holiday weekend. I explained the issue and accepted to pay the extra amount for bank holiday. £150 instead of £80. I had a time of 1-5pm, the guy turned up near 5pm typical. His name was Marty and didnt care about fixing my issue, fobbed the job off and said he was external drainage and had no tools on him! waste of time. He then rang through and said its a plumbing issue and another engineer was booked between 5-9pm. The new engineer rings me called Ben at 9pm, although he was alright on the phone he basically said its not his team and its the drainage team (the guy who had already been)!! Im not happy at this point, ive waited all day on bank holiday and no one is helping. I ring the call centre to escalate, no manager available (funny that) and the agent put the phone down on me! I rang again, another job booked for the drainage team the next morning between 8-1pm... Very annoyed but accepted this. I get a call at 1pm (again funny that its right at the end of the deadline) and he says he will be 10 minutes, seems like were getting somewhere... YEAH RIGHT! He rings me back saying he needs his van outside but as there are double yellows he cant park there. I offered to pay for parking but he decline, Mike his name was... He said he needs to contact the local council to get permission to park on double yellow lines, so i waited an hour and a half (3.30pm at this point) and i decide to ring him, 3 times with no answer! I ring the office and after having to explain once again, i was told that the driver CANCELLED the job and didnt even tell me!!!! I was in shock and disbelief, then to add to this the agent on the phone said that the job will not be done by DynoRod and they will not help!!! She said someone at the office should have asked about parking when i originally called, well no they didnt and that useless Marty didnt mention nothing about that when he came out and took no interest in the job. I asked to escalate this as its completely unacceptable and the lady said the manager is in a meeting but can call back when shes free... Well its been over 24 hours later and STILL no call ! What a complete bunch of incompetent people, surely they deal with this basic request everyday but I will never use this poor company and if anyone put themselves in my shoes and go through this I'm sure you would be in shock too. When they said they cant help me after waiting on them for over 24 hours, I rang a company called Metro Rod, they had someone out in 45 minutes and the issue was resolved in an hour.
