Now that the party is over, my husband and I agree that hiring Neil was absolutely the right move! One of the things that sets Golden apart from other companies is that they make the party about you. A lot of DJ's or bands are really flashy, over the top, in your face - - people end up watching them instead of watching the bride and groom. We're far from narcissists, but we also wanted to keep the focus on why we were all there. Neil excelled at this, knowing the right moments to step in, funny little things to say, and he worked the mic like the pro that he is. He was one of the few DJ's that I know who told us to request as many songs as we wanted and he knew what to pick and choose while reading the dance floor. He also has a really great set up for the introductions to the reception which include a video or audio message from the bride and groom before they walk out to their music of choice. People literally keep talking to us about how cool that was, and it added a really special memory to starting the reception.
