I paid him $10,000 which included the installation of some landscaping lights. In hopes of speeding up his incredibly slow progress I offered him $300 per light. There were 6 lights and 2 spotlights. That left a tip of $1,000 because his work was good even though it took almost 3 weeks. About a week later I get an email from him with an estimate for approximately $18,000!!!! I was shocked!! On top of that he gave me $2,000 in receipts for materials that were made up of half his own tools. Now he is threatening to file a lien against the new owner! I think he's running a scam, because he said something about this not being his first rodeo! He told me that he knew exactly how to file a lien. I'm just sick

All of it! More recently they helped us out big time after roofers damaged our fire pit. They were able to track down the matching stone and quickly repair it. Janet was lovely to work with, super friendly and responsive. And Eric went out of his way to find the stone and complete even this smaller project for us. Great team! We will very happily hire FRSR for another project! They are competent, friendly and timely. Their costs are just right. And their work is beautiful! I am going to file a BBB complaint as well…read more I had to hire another Landscaping Contractor to fix the issues left behind regarding the SOD/Sprinkler system rezoning/Sprinkler head installation (Front yard). FRSR made promises that were put in the estimate I received and things sounded great--but many of them were not honored after they left. Communication was spotty at best, and they did not respond to my concerns after completing the job. The project scope required a new wireless sprinkler system which was never installed. Additionally, They never called to confirm I was happy when they left. They were supposed to come out and inspect and test the sprinkler system since it was re-zoned for the front yard. This never happened. They never returned to finish performing the initial spring sprinkler start-up routine to ensure all the zones and sprinkler heads were set up and working properly. As a result, many areas of my lawn died and I had to go with another Landscaping company to resolve the issues with sprinkler heads (some missing parts). This cost me thousands of dollars. Any attempt to get them to fix the issues and install the wireless sprinkler controller was met with excuses or no return phone calls. I feel they really do not care about their customers since they never contacted me or performed any follow-up after they got their final payment. This might be a tactic they use to avoid accountability. Their contract is airtight in their favor, so don't expect them to honor anything not explicitly written. Save yourself the headache and thousands of dollars. There are many reputable landscapers in Colorado--FRSR is not one of them.

Initially, we'd planned a big project but scaled it back to fit our budget, and they were so accommodating with re-bidding and adjusting the scope. They tackled several paver landings for us, handled electrical work that was damaged during digging (my fault), and trenched about 70-80 feet to install a spigot at the back of the property. They also replaced a large amount of mulch--about 13 cubic yards--and did a top-notch job. What really impressed us was how adaptable they were. Mid-project, we decided we wanted the entire front yard torn out and resodded. They had a crew out the next day, removed the old sod, brought in topsoil, tilled it, and laid the new sod--all on short notice. They even trimmed a tree outside the original plan and left the property immaculate afterward. If you're looking for a responsive, flexible, and top-quality crew that delivers exactly what they promise--and fast--this team is it. We couldn't be happier with the results!

They sent a very professional estimator out to our house quickly to meet us and talk about the services they provide. They broke the price down based on the different paint products available and even offered quotes to replace some damage on our house. We found their prices to be comparable to other painters we got estimates from and were able to choose the kind of paint that gave us the best cost vs effectiveness balance which was nice because some painters are limited to one line of products available. Much to our surprise they called and said that they had availability much sooner than they originally thought and were able to come out the next day to begin painting. After a full day of very thorough prep work they had a crew large enough to paint all of the body in one day and trimmed out the next. The final paint job looks AMAZING! I was so impressed that they came back at a time that was convenient for me to walk the house and discuss any issues that I noticed.
