But a week after the completion, I see many things that are not professional. Don will then tell you that you are not picking. He referenced one of the painters on the 2 man crew as a "junior painter." Well I didn't pay for junior painters. I paid good money for professionals. The final walk through was a joke. Don and Amy were there for about 10 minutes. Nowhere near enough time to fully inspect a 1,600 sq. Ft. House. I was unable to voice my concerns in person as they ran out the door. So I leave you with this review.

I will start the review by saying the reason I called them was because family members have used…read morethem and had good experiences. I want to make it clear I've seen their work and it is good work. They are good painters and their prices are very competitive, which is why I'm giving them two stars instead of one. However, my work never got done. I booked them a month out and as the deadline drew nearer, I hadn't heard anything from them. I emailed a few times with no response. Finally I called, fairly upset, and got a call a day later saying they wouldn't be coming because they were behind. The excuse was rainy days had put them behind on exterior jobs. I asked when they'd be coming I was told another month. I had coordinated the scheduled dates with our new floor install as to minimize the chances of our new floors getting scratched somehow and to allow all the dust from our stucco ceiling removal to be removed with the old carpet. Frustrated for the lack of communication more than anything, I agreed to wait a month. A month came and went. There was zero communication leading up to the date. I again emailed several times (the same email that responded almost instantly when I inquired about the job and agreed to the job) with no response. I called and left a couple messages and this time did not receive a call back. Finally my husband and I made the decision to fire this company. I sent the email ending our job with them and, I kid you not, within five minutes received a response. It began with, "That's probably for the best." And went onto say the best ceiling guy was "still" out with a back injury...something that had never once been communicated to me in the two months I (tried desperately) to work with them. The email had no apology, no remorse for wasting two months of our time, and zero accountability for the lack of communication. So from my perspective, hiring them is a risk if you're on a timeline. While my other two family members got their work done, they have also expressed frustration of poor communication. So it really just depends on your patience level and ability to wait and wonder if your project is a priority.
