Maybe it's the location in what is probably Sunnybank's least visited shopping centre, or the interior of the shop itself, but the vibe in this place really detracts from what is actually a good store. They have a decent range of stuff, pretty much anything that plugs into a wall (or power board, or extension cord) that you might want or need. On the sweltering day that I paid them a visit, a display of fans greeted me as I entered, and a quick walk through took me past washing machines, TVs, air conditioners and even a few massage chairs. The variety and abundance of goods is impressive considering the size of the shop, which still has plenty of space to move around, unlike many of the large chain stores that boast aisles of closely packed whitegoods that are perfect for losing children in. read more

Enjoy E-joy! Enjoy E-joy! I can't get the stupid chant out of my head every time I walk past this cheerful looking electronic shop with its Pac man like logo. I've never bought anything from here but I'll definitely keep it in mind for the after-Christmas sales when I go searching for a fan and a hand held vacuum cleaner for the house. Given the smallness of the shop, they don't stock a huge range. However, what they do stock is middle of the range, reliable products at a fair price. I tend to be a meticulous shopper when it comes to electronics checking out the big outlets such as Harvey Normans and The Good Guys as well as considering online options. If you don't have the time for thorough research or you are simply not as anal as I am with electronics, E-joy is definitely worth checking out when you're in the Sunnybank area. read more

Never shop with eJoy if you value honest customer service. They ordered us the wrong model of air conditioner & the installation guys said nothing despite our requests for confirmation that it was the right model. We turned it on later to find it nowhere near powerful enough. We called to ask if this was a malfunction so one of the men returned to check it. He had the nerve to laughingly tell us it was just too small and wrong for our space. Why he didn't see fit to mention it earlier, we don't know. We asked if it could be uninstalled & upgraded to the right one but they said no since we'd 'used it' and it was 'not resell-able'. They had the audacity to suggest that we purchase another air-conditioning unit from them and have them install it at further cost to us. The staff who handled our complaints were rude and condescending, denying any responsibility for their mistake. They tried to offer other small products of theirs to placate us but these were paltry offerings considering the added cost we would incur so we firmly declined. These people have no sense of accountability at all and are highly not recommended for anybody who wants fair treatment. read more
