An old friend of mine is really good at taking pictures and I had planned for her to take my daughter's sweet 16 pics. Well I waited until the last minute to ask her if she was free, and it turned out she was going out of town. She had also moved out of the area. On a whim, I happened to read Saleta's post in a Local Fort Worth Group. Her sample pictures were exceptional and I loved the Stockyards setting. It made me so nervous to send money electronically! When I messaged Saleta, she was so quick to respond, she understood my being nervous, and she was so excited to work with us for my daughter's special day. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate Saleta, the quality of her work, and her attention to detail. I can say without a doubt that I was not disappointed and you will not be either!

At the shoot we asked her if she would take separate photos of our oldest grandson and photoshop him in since he could not be there. She insisted several times it was not a problem. She also offered to do a free maternity shoot for our oldest daughter who was pregnant and was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma. This is when the problems started. I set up the appointment for our grandson and she was 1 1/2 hours late. No call, no email, no text. Left us stranded at a park with no restrooms with a 5-year-old. She finally showed up and pictures were taken. Then I made the appointment for the maternity shoot. Same scenario. She was 2 hours late to this. Once again, no call, no email, and no text message. When she finally showed she stated that she was 50% done with my family photos and would have them to me by the weekend. The weekend came, no photos. I waited until Wednesday to email her for an update. No response. The following Tuesday I emailed her again asking for my pictures or my money back. She responded stating my photos were behind a wedding album and were next and she would have them to me by the end of business on Friday. KNOWING she was leaving to go out of town on Thursday and would be gone until Mother's Day. When I found out from our mutual friend that she was out of town I sent her a text. She didn't reply to me but called the friend who gave me the information. Even when she got back to town, she made no effort to contact me. On May 16th, I emailed her again for an update. On May 18th she responded with the same my album was behind a wedding, and she would be back in the office the following week, insinuating that they would be completed. Then life got busy and I emailed her again on June 11th asking for an update. No response. I sent another email, this time a little more demanding, on June 19th. Once again, no response. Then on July 16th I sent one more email this time threatening legal action. This is where things get ugly. She accused me of stalking her, spreading slander about her on social media. Yes, I made a post asking for photographer recommendations and explained a little of my story, but I NEVER once used her name. She advised she has sent me my pictures, and she is not sending anything else. I received one picture via Facebook messenger, and she posted one picture on Facebook, and she sent me some of the maternity photos. But of our family photos, I got one. $200 for one picture. Today it has been 5 months since she did our family photo shoot, and I have been sent one picture with refusal to send anymore. So, my advice to you, find someone else to do your photos.
