He gave me a written estimate and showed me a ton of combinations of frames.. I did not use them yet but they seemed to be very knowledgeable. The price was more reasonable than a few of the other places i checked. If I go back and have the work done I will follow up with a revised review. I would say I probably would go back to them as they were very nice and price was good.

I'm writing this with a heavy heart. My husband was recently diagnosed with cancer, and due to the…read moreemotional and logistical challenges that come with such a life-altering event, I needed to withdraw from a class at the Art League of Long Island. I reached out to explain our situation and asked for a reimbursement of the administrative fee, hoping for understanding in the face of a medical crisis. To my dismay, the Art League refused. While policies are in place for a reason, I had hoped that a nonprofit centered on community, creativity, and human expression would show at least a little human decency and compassion. Instead, I was met with rigidity and indifference. This experience left me incredibly disappointed--not just because of the money, but because of the message it sent. Life is unpredictable, and when people face hardship, institutions have an opportunity to show grace. Sadly, the Art League chose not to. I can't in good conscience recommend this organization to others. Art is supposed to be about empathy and connection, but my experience here suggests otherwise.
