arrived at 1:49pm on Saturday. drove all the way from santan and the employees told me they were closed. According to hours of operation, it says 2 PM, hence the reason why I drove all the way down here. literally takes two minutes to weigh out copper that is already separated and that's even giving minute and a half extra of time. The office lady was very inconsiderate, rude and turned her back as I was trying to speak with her. Stating " I'm sorry. Have a good day". I can see it in your face apologetic you are, actually more like just collecting a check sitting on your . My company as well as my 7 employees will no longer come to this establishment. My business will be taken to snowman recycling. There is one employee I cannot remember his name. I want to say it starts with LUC, but that guy is one of the hardest workers I've ever met very very polite with great great customer service. He is trustworthy. One thing I will say about this place is...Highly recommend bringing 10lb weigh to ensure scale is calibrated correctly. I always weigh my metal before scrapping and I've had conflicting weight. This is the only place that I bring my recycling. Even though I live about an hour drive from here, I find that it's worth the drive & I normally just save up a cars worth of plastic water bottles & aluminum cans. My HOA also does this, but I find that it's strange that I would want to pay them to take these & they get paid on top of that for them. Great place to recycle! Always friendly and today, I showed up with plastics and was informed by the staff that they no longer take them and haven't for about a month. I spoke with the owner Geovanni, and he said he would take them and pay $.20/lb, even though I offered $.15! They offer good prices (anyone who compares then to CA prices is misinformed because that is a redemption price that was built into it when bought, NOT a recycle price). Had some copper wire I needed to turn in today and went all the way down there on the bike and they tell me that they no longer do walk-in's. I didn't understand at first thought maybe I had to make an appointment or something. But nope. To turn anything in u must have a vehicle cuz they must take a pic of the license plate. WTF? Why the license plate? And not my driver's license or state id? So now the poor that can't afford a car or can't drive also can't make money from cans or copper. Nice! Kick me while I'm down. Just trying to make some money to feed my babies now that price of living went up. It's hard out there and I'm trying to do things the right way but it's really hard when shit like this happens. There are much better ones in town. this one gave me steal price, the lowest, on everything including my aluminum. Of course the guy on the scale couldn't speak English, and when mentioned to the guy at the window he just said, that's what the ticket shows. Plus I'll be shocked if I don't get a flat tire from all the crap in their drive area that had metal scape, nails, screws and other sharp objects! I recommend Avoid. read more

It was a scorching hot day 108 yes it late Sept. But, these guys were out there working in the heat and still happy and smiling! I have been going here for quite some time and always find them helpful and courteous. If something needs to be broken down, they let me know. Some of the workers don't speak english, but if you talk to the person at the window, they will help you. They are not a rip off. We called around looking for the best price on a large amount of aluminum cans that our family has been saving. When we checked their website the prices said $1.15/lb. However, when we called ahead to confirm pricing we were told that the prices of $1.15/lb was for cans with the CRV stamp only and not smashed, other wise the price would be $.45/lb. We called back to find out why the $.70/lb price swing, especially since Arizona is not a CRV state. We were told that those were the instructions from their buyer, they are pretty sure they are taking them into California, but couldn't say for sure. Then something about most buyers are selling cans into China. As you can expect we found somewhere else to take our cans. I would watch out for this place, seems they are running some kind of bait and switch on their can price. read more
