If you've got young kids who are interested in soccer, I can't recommend this place enough! The…read morestaff is not only knowledgable about soccer, but about early childhood education. The coaches know just how to get each child involved and feeling confident and successful. My daughter who is (not quite) 2 takes a class where each child is partnered with an adult. My son, age 3 (almost 4) has taken for about a year in a class where parents watch from across a wall. And not just any wall, I might add. I totally appreciate that it's a clear half wall, so my littlest one can watch her big brother and has learned so much, and the top half is netting to keep the balls safely on the field but let parents talk with their kids. I know mine needed some encouragement in the beginning. The field itself is artificial turn and indoors. The facility has adequate heating, but gets very hot in the summer with a/c, so there are large garage doors that can open and let in a breeze. Temperature aside, I appreciate that it's indoors because they can never get rained out. And in fact in the winter, they seem to never get snowed out either! Class begins with a personalized roll-call, a little chat with the coach, and a warm-up freeze game. They do organized stretching and learn gross motor coordination and balance. Next, the kiddos run through an agility drill, get a water break (they get so excited for this!!), do an aerobic drill, (more water!!) and finish up with a game of sharks and minnows. My son isn't always comfortable doing activities in group sessions without his parents, but the coaches really knew how to make him comfortable. Now he's so excited for soccer every week and participates happily and confidently!

They boy is the quiet shy type, but he does participate here with some assistance from my husband. I do like their activities and it gets my son running around. My almost 4 year old grandson really enjoys riding his scooter and his balance bike (with no pedals) all through the neighborhood. We went out several times to do this and his favorite destination was to go to Wedgewood Park. It's a small community park that we can access at the end of a dead end street. Cars can also drive to it. There is a decent size parking lot and a jungle jim with 3 different size slides, tennis courts, soccer field and a swing set with both baby and kid size swings. Until recently the swing set and jungle jim were closed off due to covid-19. The park is seperated from the nearby homes by a cluster of trees. It's location makes it a perfect local play area for the neighborhood! Until next time be kind to each other and stay healthy. @yelpcincy @wedgewoodpark @Fairbornohio #familyfun #communitypark

There isn't a chance I would have signed up for a men's indoor league at Soccer First if I knew how…read morelittle they consider your feedback. I am totally fed up with the officiating. Therefore, myself and another player tried to file a formal complaint; the response was underwhelming. They wouldn't let us speak to the facility's manager because she was "too busy," and some 50-year-old dude came out and began conversing with us. He asked us what was wrong, and we cited some obvious instances. For example, we talked about the referee texting during our game, calling a foul when not looking, not giving a card on a breakaway foul, sustaining injuries we have faced from poor game management, and drinking before games by other teams. All of these complaints were blatantly disregarded by him. Instead, this managerial figure, which is a generous term, choose to respond to the one complaint of mine that referred to the opponents player not retreating to their half after a goal was scored. Apparently, this is legal even though I said something directly to the referee before the ball was kicked. Anyway, he gave me a blank white piece of paper to write down my complaints in spite of me asking to file a formal report. I could tell from his patronizing tone that he did not give a flying you-know-what about our complaints. So, I ultimately handed the guy back his blank paper and said, "you aren't going to do anything about it." To which the fake manager replied something to the effect of, "you will never go anywhere with that attitude." The absolute brazen approach to openly disrespect patrons is both disgusting and invokes a strong-indignant feeling by Soccer First. It is readily apparent to me that they have no regard for player safety, and they simply care about padding their bottom line.

For one of the championship games, they failed to secure a single referee!! How does that happen for a CHAMPIONSHIP GAME?? Instead they bring along some dude in sweat pants and a hoodie, like they just called their cousin Johnny who played soccer in high school! And here's the kicker (pun intended).. the so called "ref" states that since he's not only ref, he's "not going to call offsides"!? If you're looking for a sports provider for soccer, I would highly recommend looking somewhere else. Absolutely terrible.

If you need toilet paper it's usually on the ground and soggy wet. I am a clean freak. For me to get cellulitis that started as a bacteria infection is the unthinkable. This really did happen to me and I know it came from the RiversEdge. When I arrived at the facility I needed to change into my uniform. I was sitting on the bench in the bathroom and when I stood up I had to make a little extra effort. There was thick sticky layer of??????? On my shorts. They stuck to my legs during my game. My teammates/friends were making fun of me. 3 days later I started getting a rash on my leg. It was more than a rash. It felt like my leg was resting in a fire pit. Most pain I have ever experienced. I went to the doctor to find out I had cellulitis that started from bacteria. It was winter and the only time I wore shorts was when I played soccer. The doc checked the rest of my body. He told he was sorry to tell me this but it looks like your stomach it's on your stomach. The pain process was just starting to get better. 2 days later my stomach was on fire. lol at the pictures. He should use the cash he doesn't claim to hire a cleaning service and buy a couple cans of Disinfectant spray. At least try.
