This is a great Bible based teaching church…read more Before the two services on Sunday (9:30 & 11:00) they offer free coffee, juice, milk, fruit, breakfast bars & donuts. There are two levels to sit during service with elevator access. They also offer a children's area where you can check the kids in for their own worship. (see pics) Aldo a teen area as well. The volunteers/staff/workers, or what ever you want to call them are all friendly. I've never once felt looked down on or judged because I was in jeans or munching on donuts while filling up my large coffee mug!! The parking lot is large with plenty of area by the doors for drop off and pick up. Inside is large as well with several different rooms upstairs for different classes they offer through out the year. The classes coming up for the year can be viewed on their Web site. The church is a "come as you are" church which means wear what you want. I've seen people in shorts and t shirts along with people in suits and dresses. I wear jeans and a nice shirt which I usually see the most. The age group of this church is all over the board. In other words all ages are there so you can't say it's a young church or an old church. When each service is over they have a police man directing traffic out onto the main road which makes getting out of the parking lot a breeze!!! One thing I notice this church does often is they have social gatherings outside throughout the year. Such as cookouts, and during Halloween they always hold a Trunk or Treat which is a large safe event for the trick or treaters. If your thinking or looking for a friendly bible based church with an opportunity to meet people this is a church worth checking out. Bonus Tip....... Past messages can be heard and viewed on line.

They have remodeled it into a church and it's very nice they offer many different services they offer me different programs throughout the week and they have a daycare facility as well. It is a nice newly renovated building that is a great addition to the community

My Aunt and Uncle brought us to NCC while in town visiting. Our family LOVED it!…read more Our church back home is 3x the size of this church and our previous church had about 7,000 members. Nelson Christian Church is definitely small but they are amazing! We attended the 10am service, which is a contemporary service. We LOVED the music! The band was amazing and played some of our favorite songs! (The 8:30 service is traditional with the old school hymns, which we're personally not really into). Pastor Mark was great! His sermon was really great. We like when pastors include humor into their sermons... it's not so stuffy like the olden days. We just loved how welcomed we were. No dress code. Come as you are. Jeans are just fine. NCC even gave us a first time visitor gift! So super nice! Our kiddos loved the children's Sunday School. (They said they got a snack of a juice box and cookies... which if they raved about because we usually don't let them have sugar.) A new playground was put up and they got to play on that as well. We are so glad we got to attend this church with my Aunt and Uncle! We'd love to return the next time we're in town.

When our family came to The Lifesong Community Church, we had been out of church for a few years,…read morewe went for our friends baptism and were so welcomed by the members of the Lifesong, our children asked if we could go back. November 2017 our family was blessed with our church home. Before coming to the Lifesong, anytime I attended church, that was just it, I was only attending, I wasn't growing my relationship with Jesus, I wasn't leading my family to know Jesus. The members of the Lifesong made sure we were not just numbers coming through the doors, they had deep love and want to nurture my relationship with Jesus. I have never felt more welcomed, accepted, and close to Christ. I know I am not just a number, if our family is missing, they will come calling, to make sure we are ok, do we need anything, and just to say hope you are having a great day. And a bonus, I don't have to drag my family to church, they are up and ready to go, they love it there, and my boys are surrounded by amazing examples of what it looks like to love and be loved by Jesus!
