However, the thing they have that will forever make me come back and visit as I'm passing through is the ice cream. The glass case boasted both Superman (my wife's favorite) and Spumoni (one that I rarely find outside of the Old Spaghetti Factory). I'm a sucker for ice cream and will go out of my way for it. I can't speak to the cleanliness of the restroom, since I didn't use it. But the man behind the counter was cheerful and friendly. There were a few coffee options, but the sugar dispenser is far too generous. I ended up with the sweetest coffee in the world. I prefer my sugar consumption to be in the form of ice cream, not so much in my coffee. So make note and be cautious when you go to sweeten your drink.

That's why I like to stop here to take a break and refresh before getting back on the interstate. This Maverik is consistently clean, well maintained, and feels like a safe, reliable place to stop. There are plenty of gas pumps, which means quick stops with minimal waiting, and the store has a great selection of hot snacks, cold snacks, drinks, nachos, and those delicious Cinnabon cinnamon rolls that are hard to pass up! Seriously, NOBODY can beat Maverik on the snack situation. As my grandpapa used to say, "if they don't have it it, you don't need it." The fountain and bottled sodas, milkshakes, juices, water, energy drinks...the variety is crazy and there's something for everyone. One of the best features is the outdoor picnic area with tables and beautiful mountain views, a perfect spot to stretch your legs, relax, and enjoy a quick meal before getting back on the road. Let's highlight the greatest of moments that we have had just briefly together. Life is grand! Get out and live. The best of the area we have found. The store is highly organized and well set up . What more could one ask for. At the hours that we have been visiting . I'm just glad we are not awaking the dead. All was still and quiet and then we walked in . This is such a cool gas station/convenience store that is built into the red rock mountain side. Appropriately named HOLLOW MOUNTAIN as it's built into the mountainside I mean this station is literally in the middle of nowhere. At first glance we pulled in to the lot & almost left. We ended up going in & to our surprise realized that the store was built into the stone. I ended up buying a bottle of Kornbucha. The cool part is that the whole store is built into the mountainside. Love's Travel Stop #581 - Salina, UT…read more I am very disappointed with the way my friend and I were treated at this location. We stopped at Love's Travel Stop to buy cigarettes and hot dogs. While we were in the store, an employee approached us in front of other customers and employees and falsely accused us of throwing a bag of garbage on the ground near the gas pumps. We told her that we did not do that and asked if she could show us the security camera footage since she claimed she had seen us on camera. We were so confident that we had done nothing wrong that we even told her if the video showed we had thrown the garbage, we would pay any fine and I would personally give the store a $1,000 gift. However, if the video proved we were innocent, we expected an apology. Instead of showing us the footage, the employee became very aggressive, called me a "motherfer," and repeatedly told us to "get the f out" of the store. No customer should ever be spoken to that way, especially after being falsely accused without any evidence. After we left, the store called the police. I would like to thank the responding officers because they were very polite, respectful, and professional. We explained the situation to them and again asked that the store review the security camera footage. We repeated that if the footage showed we were responsible, we would accept full responsibility, pay any fine, and honor our $1,000 offer. If the footage showed we did nothing wrong, then the store should apologize for falsely accusing and verbally abusing us. I hope the store manager or Love's corporate office reviews the security camera footage from June 27, 2026, around 9:50 PM, investigates this incident, and contacts us with an apology. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, not falsely accused and insulted in front of others.
