The more I reflect on my visit here the most I realize I should have done sought out an allergy…read morespecialist a long time ago. CAAS made the whole process so easy and welcoming. First of all, I made my appointment yesterday for today, was able to get an 8am without issue. Check-in was easy and they started with vitals and basic medical history questions. Dr. Herring came in and got some more in depth insight into my 27 year battle with allergies and ordered an allergy test to determine the severity. The test itself was simple enough, you just have to lay on your stomach while a nurse nicks the skin with allergen samples. Think of someone scratching a small amount of skin with a toothpick. After 15 minutes of mild itchiness, we had some answers. There were a dozen or so "round two" samples that the Dr. ordered to check some specifics. These were done with needles to get under the skin, but painless for the most part. Turns out, I'm allergic to damn near everything! Dr. Richard prescribed a couple of medicines and a few samples. They seem to be already helping. Immunotherapy is an option that I'm going to look into soon and I know that I'm in good hands here. Thanks to Dr. Herring and RN Robin for making me feel 1000% better!

I went to get a lump in my daughter's throat looked at because I too have ongoing ent issues and…read morewanted to get hers looked at as well. The lump is on the back of her throat and to me looks concerning also because her tonsils are red and irritated. The Dr looked at it for maybe 4 seconds and said it was extra tonsil tissue.. like.. wtf I know what the tonsils look like and im no dr but I also know tonsil tissue doesn't grow directly on the back wall of the throat. Her lump looks like a skin tag forming and isn't even connected to the tonsils. The Dr. seemed very irritated for even being there and didn't even wait to see if I had any additional questions. He looked at her throat, said tonsil tissue and told me ok were done.. you can go to the desk for check out. I WILL NOT be returning to this location for any additional appointments.
