The tasting room is fairly small but includes a couple of outdoor tables that provide a peak into their barrel house which was an added plus. Our group decided to each do a tasting and share sips in order to try the most number of champagnes. Tasting includes two heavy pours for roughly 30€ per person (slightly more or less based on your selections). We really enjoyed the Paradis, a 2016 vintage, and the brut. One nice touch that this champagne house does is to provide a paper ring around the base of each champagne glass in order to tell which type of champagne is in each glass. This is helpful for larger groups which are sharing a number of glasses. Our group had visited a few champagne houses before this and sometimes had trouble keeping track of our glasses. The woman working in the tasting room was very friendly and definitely offered heavy pours. Overall, a smaller house but still a big experience. Check them out!

They're the first fully certified organic champagne house (since the 70's?) and recently they've been dropping bottles in the ocean currents vs manual rack riddling. I'm serious. Sure, I could have ponied up…read more€30-50 for cellar tours and tastings at the big houses but let's face it, I can drink Tattinger and the like at home. I was really interested in trying small producers that don't export. That's where Tresors comes in - it's a tasting room coop with 27 small, local wineries showcased. Can we talk about the interior? So clever! There's a giant map of Champagne on the floor and each producer is numbered - pull down their bottle from the ceiling (see my pics) to learn more. I love that each winemaker is pictured - we were given a small booklet with more detailed info on each winemaker as well. Each day there are 8-10 bottles open for tasting. You can taste by the glass (price varies) or do a flight of 3 for €20. My husband and I each did one so we shared 6 wines from a light blanc des blancs to a more intense rose maceration. My favorite ended up being a 2008 vintage - it was perfection. I can't say enough about how great our sommelier Laure (hope I spelled it right!) was! She thoroughly explained each wine and the overall process that the vintners go through. My only small sad is that they really don't ship to the US (due to state specific regulations) so plan to perhaps taste a bunch here and perhaps grab a special bottle or two. Prices varied from €20/bottle to MUCH more but I can tell you that I truly liked each wine I tasted. This shop was one of the highlights of my vacation - it was everything I was looking for. They're close to the train station so definitely do not miss them!

You'll be able to purchase bottles (and cases) of bottlings seldom seen back home, and more importantly be able to taste maybe 6-9 open bottles among 180+ cuvees they carry at any given point. It's a great opportunity to learn a lot about different cuvee styles and the growers behind them, some of whom have an intense cult following among enthusiasts. All at reasonable prices and among super-friendly staff, the shop space is totally lovely too. Extremely highly recommended.

This is a small family owned vineyard that welcomes you to come taste their champagne. The tasting room over looks a vineyard and makes for nice pictures to capture the moment. When you want a tasting you get a choice of 3 champagnes for 15 euros. If you buy 6 or more bottles the tasting is free. They will ship worldwide.

We visited during…read moreharvest, which is a crazy time of year, so everyone was running around, and then the Tasting Room got really busy, so more running around, but they still took the time to explain their champagnes and deliver a couple of flights of tastings. The difference here was that they actually brought out flights, where most other places we went to would serve one tasting at a time. The advantage of a flight is that they could deliver your entire tasting at once, but the disadvantage is that the last few you taste will be warmer, so may not showcase the champagne as well. Also, we noticed that the champagne was not as bubbly, but we're told that it's because of the glass and they were waiting for a new shipment of glasses. Didn't get to test this theory out, but will do some further research. The Tasting Room itself looks brand new. It's very modern with amazing views of the vineyards. This place is worth a visit just for the views! The champagnes are good and priced reasonably. We saw people buy cases and cases of the stuff, and we picked up a few bottles for ourselves and for gifts.
