I had spoken with a few brokers and all, including Alex, has said it would be very challenging without Streeteasy. Some brokers declined outright, others reluctantly offered to do what they could. Alex was really the only one who was both direct about the challenge but also confident in that he would be able to get the place rented. Alex was so kind and professional the whole way through, he helped me in determining a price that would get it rented, he took great new photos and kept me abreast of developments during the whole process - I didn't have a single worry. Best of all, he found great tenants within a matter of weeks and I was able to move on my target date! I can't think of a better broker experience that I have had and he is also a very cool guy! My friends and I booked a girls trip and figured why not support one of our own...biggest mistake. First off I just want to say we did not get our itinerary until THE NIGHT BEFORE WE FLEW OUT!!! From there I knew our Girls' Trip to Los Cabo, Mexico was going to be a terrible experience. Day 1: Our ride to the airport did not have one of our members on the list so the transportation agency had to make an exception because we booked through an agency. That night we were supposed to have a night out on the town which was an epic failure because our itinerary CLEARLY states a time and the location. The place we were supposed to go to was closed at said time, we got dressed and ventured out to a place that was closed (it says the correct time they close on their website). Day 2: The next day went well (because we booked our activity ourselves) Day 3: We asked to be booked for a private yacht and we got a sailing trip with OTHER people. First of all it is during a pandemic hence why we insisted on having a boat to ourselves, which our agent said she would be able to deliver on but she failed to do (if she told us that she was not able to get it we would not have been so upset, instead she booked us for something we did not authorize). That same night we were supposed to have reservations made for my friend's birthday. Due to our agent's inconsistency I took it upon myself to call the restaurant to see if the reservation was actually made...guess what NO RESERVATION WAS MADE...but it was on our itinerary for 8pm at that specific restaurant. We had to scramble and find a new restaurant that allowed dinner and a celebration. Day 4: The morning we had a zipline adventure which went fine...however because our agent did not check the times that the transportation was going to be bringing us back to our hotel we had to call an uber to make our spa appointments on time (had to come out of pocket for something that was supposed to be handled) I again due to the disaster of an itinerary asked the receptionist what time our spa appointments were scheduled for the following day. Turns out they were scheduled DURING our activity for the next day (which was parasailing), however the itinerary clearly states that the spa was reserved for a time that the spa is not even open.... I just want to say that yes everyone makes their mistakes but I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the service we received. We were better off planning the trip ourselves because it would have been a lot less stressful. Icing on the cake...they used our photos on their page 1. without our permission and 2. using the photos like they were the reason...no hard no they were not the reason. We made the best of the mess of a situation they put us in. I STRONGLY do not believe that this company is ready to take on the type of clientele they are trying to gain. I've booked without travel agencies and everything is flawless. This experience was subpar...I DO NOT RECOMMEND BOOKING WITH LITADVENTURES!!! Spend your money elsewhere.
