So, we were passing through Grand Junction and two of my boys needed haircuts. In our haste, we failed to recognize that Earl's is a one-man shop and as such, is a 'by-appt' only shop. We nevertheless showed up in force and he could not have been any nicer! He stopped his appointment in progress (customer was super graceful as well!) and redirected us to a nearby barber shop - walking distance - that was better staffed to handle our walk in business. And the other barber shop was great to boot! So 5-Stars+ to what I am sure would have been an unbelievable cut by a guy who understands what 5-star customer service looks like. Kudos!!!! read more

This guy is legit! Long story short, I came to him for my first time after getting my hair severely butchered at another shop (picture included to show how bad). I was pretty sure there was no way to get my head back looking normal for the next month, minimum. But Earl repaired it all the way to the extent that it's best cut I've gotten in the Valley!! I couldn't ask for a better haircut or a better barbershop experience. Earl's shop reminds me of the barbershop my Dad and I went to when I was a kid. I've searched a long time to find a place that provided the same experience as that childhood memory. This is it. Stopped in to get my haircut before returning to Korea after leave. Earl did an awesome job! True professional that still cares about getting it right for the customer. Spent over a half hour with me and carried on a nice conversation the whole time. As if all this wasn't enough. He wouldn't accept payment as a thank you for my service!
