We had several issues; including consistent rashes…read more(so bad he had trouble walking), I saw a teacher drag a student by his arm and forcefully push him down by his shoulders while in the play area. Myself and another parent also raised concerns about staff allowing their significant others (no background check or authorization) into the classroom to hold our children while they visited for extended periods of time with teachers. Rather than fix these issues, the owner and receptionist argued with me. I removed my son. My last review was removed for not being clear enough, so I came back to detail my experience at this place.

Alex took one look at my two year old and made preconceived notations about who he was as an individual. Alex said that my son was a bad kid and would not fit in his facility. He said that he was understaffed and the his workers would not be able to handle my child. This was not because he was a biter or because he hits other child, but because he wanted to explore the daycare. I have never been treated so poorly by any other daycare in my life. Please do not take your child here if your child has ADHD or is an active kid. Apparently they are not allowed to be toddlers at Stepping Stones.

My youngest goes to speech therapy and they work with the therapist to work on his speech skills and in the preschool class they learn how to read and write introductory words. By the time they went to kindergarten both of my kids were confident and have really loved school. I would definitely recommend them.

I came across some very nice daycares but also pricey. New World is definently reasonable and when I walked in for a tour it felt like the one. It's not as nice as some but it is clean and tidey. The staff made me feel like its going to be fine. It's small and friendly and I like that everyone is hanging out together and they also have cameras and a key pad outside the building. Diana was very nice and easy to talk to which helped me make my decision. Hoping I made a good decision!
