April 21, 2022 After 10 years of living here, I NEVER thought the public was allowed to come inside property and purchase stuff; I was wrong! After seeing the post on Instagram and Facebook I knew I could go there and man, was I excited! A lot of people (locals) do NOT know this either... FYI marketing social person. I went this afternoon and fell in love with the place. It's on the feeder of 45 coming into Galveston and has everything you need. It's small but mighty. And, it has such personal touches like you would at your own home; it's just soo zen. I met David and Dianna Estraca (owners who opened in 2002) and I was immediately impressed with their friendliness and customer service. They were literally hands on in their plants...and in the office, etc Diana was gardening and her husband David had just returned with supplies. All of this I saw first hand and it gave me a sense of pride for them. They appreciate everything they have and the people who patronize their business. I met Jared (horticulturalist) who is friendly, knowledgeable (and, so cute!) Ha! I did miss meeting their fun social guru, media person, Karla...because of her social media posts ...I found out the public can shop here just not wholesalers, etc A lot of lay people as myself didn't know the public can shop here...FYI I fell in love with this nursery and their people... friendly gets me each and every time. I've been a fixture at Tom's Thumb all this time (owner, Peggy Cornelius -no relation to new owners) retired this year and the small town (local feel) is gone. Still a beautiful nursery that I won't turn my back on just yet...but, Earth creations you are my new zen spot. I sat in the rainbow swing today and watched the traffic go by. Then I bought (another...I've had many!) rosemary herb and a hardy angelonia plant. As I was leaving Jared offered me a free bucket (planter) I needed and a chive plant that he hopes I can revive! We were low on crushed granite and by the grace of the gravel gods, this place was pretty much the only one open on the weekend. We came in and he gave us a 10% discount when using the check in feature! Check out was smooth and all we had to do was back the truck up and they loaded it up! Awesome place and very convenient! Great local resource for plants that supports an independent small business. All of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Russell was especially helpful in finding the elusive (due to the hard freeze we had earlier this year) Drift Roses. I needed 12 and wanted three different colors. No one had any, but Earth Creations did. They were nice healthy plants too. Pick-up was easy and they quickly loaded the plants into my vehicle. The next day I went back for white Penta (seasonal color/flowers) and had another positive experience with Earth Creations. I hope they continue to sell retail to the public, because I really like this business and their enthusiastic staff. We hope to use their landscaping and design services in the future when we redo our backyard. read more

I hired this company to remove all old grass, then level my yard and install new grass, this did not happened. I paid in full with a promise from Diane to come back at a later date to add sand to level, and now Diane refuses to do so. I can not give a 5 star review for this reason. read more

AGENDA BASED LAWN SERVICE - 2nd review days later... canceled services AGAIN, called and notified owners about being over charged for no service... and we are still getting emails with invoices for service that was never completed. they are obviously only looking out for themselves. watch out for Russel and Dianna - don't sign their annual service contract!! they will charge you according to their own agenda and when they need the money they will show up regardless if your lawn needs the cut just so they can invoice you. 0 stars read more

AMAZING!!! I worked with Steve from Earth Creations Landscaping and he was the absolute best. We just bought a home and the yard was instantly flooding and getting into the garage after some rain. Steve came out very promptly to look at the situation and give us some options. We had another company come out and look at our situation and give us a bid but Steve was MUCH more thorough. He came out the first day and discussed some options and expressed how he would like to come out after the next rain (2days later) to get us the most accurate bid. He did come out after the rain and flagged the problem areas. He very thoroughly, explained our options and helped us select the best option for the best price. Him and his team came out after the yard had some time to dry out a little (a few days later) and they did fantastic job and finished in two days. He then came out AGAIN to see if any areas needed a little touch up to ensure the drainage system was working as efficiently as possible. He marked a few areas and came out the next day to address those touch ups. We have had some rain since the and the drainage system is working seamlessly. Our yard was a flooded unusable mess and now it is drying out and the water is draining away! We opted to just have the drainage system installed for now and then ia few months we will be able to cover the drainage pathways (the rocks you see in the photos) with a geofabric and grass. Steve is such a great honest guy and I truly could not appreciate him and Good Earth more! We will definitely be going to them for all of our future landscaping needs. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!
