For a girl like me who drools over anything from the 50s and 60s you with think you've gone to heaven. She has everything from furniture to little nick-naks and kitchen goodies to a few racks of lovely clothing as well. Plus the owner is one of the sweetest ladies who is very knowledgeable and always willing to keep an eye out if you're looking for something very particular. You can still get great deals at Salvation Army. They even have sales according to the color of the tags. It's slapped across glassware, wood, plastic, even fabric -- and it ruins the products. The clear PACKING tape leaves residue, rips finishes and makes it impossible to carefully remove without damaging what you bought. On top of that, they're charging full retail (sometimes OVER RETAIL) prices for USED items that are already compromised by this over-zealous taping. Instead of helping people find affordable secondhand goods, they're destroying donations and overpricing them. Completely defeats the purpose of thrifting. I made every attempt to CAREFULLY remove their incorrect tape. See attached photos of $16.00 now-worthless, damaged Goodwill products.
