This company/Shawn Yates is a sham. They cheated me out of thousands of dollars on large backyard project me and my wife had wanted to do for years. Excuse after excuse and promise after promise. Nothing. I don't know how many times I was told we will be there one day and every day after until the job is complete. Contract signed in February and 4 1/2 months later it is still not done. COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!! BEWARE!! We hired Earthscapes Easley for a full yard clean up and some big projects. They were to clean up some river rock around our yard, plant trees, rebuild a pool fountain, install a fence across the front yard, and repair a trellis, They we're also supposed to apply weed killer and fertilizer and cut our grass for the whole season as part of our agreement. The river rock is not clean at all and is overgrown with weeds and they didn't even purchase the trees. They took apart our pool waterfall and rebuilt it improperly leaving our pool with a LEAK and jagged rocks on our pool deck. They cut through our sprinkler lines and broke sprinkler heads and left our driveway and walkways a completed mess stained by the mulch they dumped there for weeks without a tarp. They took tons of river rock from our yard and used it on other jobs to make a profit then put in some mulch in it's place. They didn't hard edge the mulch and it's all over the yard. The job was so sloppy. They have not showed up for the weekly lawn maintenance and didn't touch the trellis. They did trim a few trees, plant a few shrubs and put some seed down on the lawn along with the mulch mentioned above. As an added bonus for us they used the side of our shed as a bathroom when I offered the house if needed. We made the mistake of paying too much upfront and they took off with our money and didn't even deliver the materials for the fence we paid for and left our yard in shambles. This created so much stress for us for months while we've were reaching out to get a response when they don't show up. Excuse after excuse. I hope no one else has to go though this. read more

They took my money never ordered my materials and used the side of my shed as a bathroom leaving dirty underwear and a pile of human feces. They are dishonest, unorganized, and there work is subpar. They are crooks and left my property damaged and in dangerous condition. They haven't even done the weekly lawn maintenance they were contracted to do, all we have received is grief, aggravation, disappointment and an over abundance of excuses.
