I was wise to try Earthwise. My normal Groomer was not available and our dear Prince desperately needed grooming. Makayla did a great job. Prince walked in looking like a hair old pup and walked out groomed and looking like a young pup. They took care great care of my son's puppy. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Brought my dogs in for baths. As time went on, I thought they were there for sometime, so I and called to see if they were ready. I was on hold quite a while, and told that they are. Once I picked up my dogs, I noticed one was squinting. I figured he just had an irritated eye and went home. Well things progressed through the night he suffered until we could get into an emergency. while he was in the care of Earthwise; He suffered an ulcer on his eye. It then led to his eye rupturing. We are now told we can try to do surgery to save the eye, or remove it completely. My dogs are well cared for, and are my family. I contacted the owner Linda Quade- she has no remorse, no concern to do the right thing. There are so many groomers that will follow through to ensure your dog is safe when you trust them with the care of your pet. Please think twice about using this facility. Looking at the reviews it's obvious the groomers have no idea how to handle goldendoodle's. We were told this place had great groomers. When we called we were told that groomer "x" was the best when it came to doodles. We dropped off our goldendoodle she said the she was matted, no in fact, she's a wool-haired doodle. I should have walked out then, knowing she didn't know what was up. All I ask the groomer was not to poodle my doodle. Well, she wasn't a poodled, she actually looks like a Bichon Frise. When we picked up and expressed our dissatisfaction, they apologized and explained how we should have used other techs as they are better with goldendoodles. I almost lost it but explained that when we called to schedule it was recommended that we use the tech that we used. Needless to say, we won't be back. This is going to be a long description of what happened to my pet in this company. In short if you care about your pets don't trust this service. I brought our Yorkie in for routine grooming and I was completely at ease as our pet has been to many groomers in New York and it has never been a problem for him, he is very patient and friendly. The lady with big headphones took it away after asking me a few questions. I began to fill out a standard form and suddenly I heard a very unpleasant sound as if a living being was being strangled. I never heard a sound like that from my dog and I asked the receptionist to take me to my pet. I saw my dog in the bathtub, the groomer was washing him on a short leash, and the dog was very frightened. When I approached my dog I saw a bleeding vessel burst in both his eyes. The groomer cynically said it was okay because he didn't like having water poured over his head and she had to hold him tight. After my outrage at this approach and especially the damage to the eyes, the groomer took offense and refused to continue the service, stating that she felt uncomfortable with my dog. This is probably the highest class of professionalism when a groomer uses brute force on a dog, inflicting moral and bodily harm on it, not taking into account the temperament and characteristics of the breed, and at the same time justifies all this by saying she feels uncomfortable with the dog. It was me and my dog who felt uncomfortable with this unprofessional employee! I do not want my pet to get stressed out during routine service, and even more so to experience physical suffering. I don't know if this is a systematic approach in this company or if it is a wrong career choice by the above-mentioned groomer, but I'll never go to this place again. PS It's terrible to see a defenseless member of my family being tortured and injured read more

Holly and Molly have both been excellent at grooming our goldendoodle, Cooper. It is not easy to find a groomer that is good with dogs and can handle the coat of a goldendoodle. They listen to what we want and ask questions and never assume anything. It is a very clean environment and not too big which I like. Great store! The facility is very clean, the staff extremely helpful, and the prices won't break the bank. We came to this place on a Sunday in the hopes of getting our Great Dane (all 140 lbs) washed. We saw on line that this place has a do-it-yourself doggie wash. It was big enough to accommodate our pup, that's good. The washing system is actually on a switch system. Turn a nob to rinse, another nob to wash with soap, another for conditioner, etc. Very convenient! Everything is provided on site - the wash apron, soap, conditioner, towel, blow dryer - everything. The groomer was also great in trimming the dogs nails, cleaning his ears out and brushing his teeth. They were running a special - all three services for $20 - not bad!. All in all it was $34. Not a bad deal for the effort (or lack thereof) on my part to only have to spray the dog down, do a little washing and talk to the groomer while she cut nails and did the other stuff. I would give zero stars if I could. They did a horrible job grooming my goldendoodle today. They claimed he was matted when I knew he was not. He is curly so he gets tangles but I brush 3 x week to the roots! He is splotchy all over, is shaved in some parts and close to it in others. Actual groomer didn't care when I said I wouldn't be back. When I showed the owner, he said "don't know what to tell you" There was another groomer tech there apologizing to my husband saying she saw it happening and she could have got the knots out with a brush. This is a great local store with tons of wonderful and healthy food, treat and toy choices for both dogs and cats. We love the Nulo brand cat food they carry. Our cats love it!! The store has both dry and canned food as well as frozen food options. They had a variety of food brands including Farmina, Fromm, Pure Vita, Zignature, Candidae, Taste of the Wild, Alana, Nutri-Source, Nulo, and many others.They also carry raw goats milk. They say it's really good for cats and dogs. They carry some remedy products like CBD oil, hip and joint relief, flea and tick collars, a variety of shampoos, shark liver oil, probiotics and much more. I noticed they do carry collars, harnesses, and Red Dingo personalized dog tags too. They have a grooming area. I peeked in on the groomers while they were grooming and they were all very nice and polite. They all seemed to be enjoying caring for the dogs they were grooming. The groomers said they accept walk ins for easy services like nail trims. Otherwise you need to call for an appointment or they said you can now book your appointments online!! That's convenient!! Love that! I seen they have a self wash area where you can bathe your dog yourself. I found out the self wash area is $14.99 and they provide the shampoo, conditioner, towels, apron, blow dryer, treats to entice and reward your pet and cotton balls to clean their ears. He took the time to explain the products offered at the store and also explained the emphasis on natural ingredients that reflect the food your pet would have eaten in the wild. The store sells organic pet food, free from any filler or junk that other places add, which means that your pets are getting a more nutritious meal. I noted that they have self dog washing stations in addition to professional dog groomers on site. They also have a good number of toys for cats and dogs. After having bad experience with groomers, I decided to do my 2 dogs grooming myself 2 years ago. During the holidays I was busier than normal with work related and personal matters so I decided to take my Yorkies to this store for grooming. We arrived 20 minutes late but they made us feel welcome. The staff was very professional and caring. They listened to what we wanted and BINGO, they respected my dogs style and did exactly what we asked for. My female dog was very matted so I asked them not to shave her because I could take care of that later at home. What a surprise to see my dogs hair untangled and keeping her length! They also have a doggie self-service where you can give your dog a bath and dry using their equipment. Before leaving I purchased a few goodies and even sent home with a few bags of free food samples! I highly recommend this place! read more

I feel it's important for others in the community should be aware of what our experience was with this business. We took our small dogs for grooming as we have regularly. Unfortunately the nice young lady that normally groomed for us in the past happened to be off the Saturday we took them in to be groomed. Our previous experience had been great with Kelly, we didn't question the new groomer. We headed to the facility to pick them up because we were very concerned didn't pay a whole lot of attention until the next morning we noticed they were covered in scabs in warts in several areas on their body and their heads. Being a Sunday I called the vet the following week and asked to bring them in to have them put on flea medicine I figured there was a possible chance maybe they had fleas even know we've never had a flea problem. My vet stated my dogs do not have fleas never had fleas would not let me purchase flea medicine told me it is not good for their breed and that he would not sell it to me that it was bacteria from dirty water where they were groomed. Two more days pass and my oldest male Pomeranian started having seizure like attacks this is gone on for two months multiple trips to the vet along with the skin bacteria three rounds of anabiotic's for my smaller female Pomeranian and she still is healing from bumps from the bacteria that was transposed her from dirty water. We have put my male dog on several different medications over the course of the last two months but unfortunately it has affected our lives greatly. To take an eight-year-old Pomeranian from a totally healthy agility dog to not being able to walk out into our yard to go to the bathroom and come back in on his own having to leave our jobs multiple times during the day to check on him as he was having these attacks multiple times during the day and could not even stand up on all fours. Greatly saddens me when I finally narrowed it down to what the cause was and I contacted the owner of Earth wise mark the conversation did not go very well he treated me very poorly laughed at me over the phone as I was in tears upon what I was handling with my animal and told me to sue the manufacture of their dip product. Very sarcastic very rude and unacceptable. I am in need of a Brandon and over the course of my mother showing Pomeranians over the years I have been in many veterinarians offices in around mini groomers and I have never quite seen somebody be so i'm concerned, abrasive and rude. I know many people have had great experience through Earth wise but just beware when you drop off you don't know what your dog is going through as they're being groomed and less you stay there to watch and oversee. We were an 8 o'clock appointment we were the first ones there at the facility besides one other animal there was no reason for any of this to happen. Now we are stuck with medical bills they refused to pay as he was defensiveAnd me suing them instead of being concerned about making sure my animal was going to live as I have read thoroughly online and so has my children and my husband by a groom is toxic be where in small breeds. I am taking the time to share my experience because I have actually been in touch with three other people that have dealt with abuse at this facility, One shared they dropped their Chihuahua off for grooming and as they were walking by the window they noticed the Chihuahua is being held by it's neck hanging off the table to trim the bottom area of the pet I don't know that to be healthy for any animal especially with as small as their bones are in their neck and her trachea. There are plenty of other people in this area that do care about animals and will treat your pet like their own and take the responsibility and show care and concern. This place is completely uncompassionate. My neighbors, family close friends and children can all attest to the fact these dogs were perfectly healthy before Our trip for grooming to Earth wise.. read more

Took my senior lab in for a nail trim. The groomer cut his nails too short and they have bled for 3 days. When I brought him back in, they packed it with a powder to stop the bleeding but went on and off for 3 days. 2 nails were nearly gone while the others were a minimum of a 1/4" longer than the ones that were visually gone. They said it happens all the time with dark nails, then they said it must of been him running on the pavement, I told them that it was trimmed 2 hours ago and all he does is sleep and walk at a slow pace. I wish he could run! When I told them that we have blood on our carpets....trails everywhere they just looked at there watches because it was almost time to leave.
