This is Diane Wheeler, the fraud herself
    Brittany P.

They pray on people in desperate need! this is the biggest Colt like Skin scam I've ever been through in my entire life. After being homeless I Was obligated to live there for a while. I have never been treated so foul in my entire life. They Force everyone there to give up your EBT money, which they claim they use for the food When in reality, it is all donations from charities for the homeless. They put Women and men that have just joined the program In charge of each other, which causes absolute chaos just so they can save a buck or two on hiring actually educated employees. The entire staff is made up of people they have picked up off the streets. They tried to make me give my unemployment to them as well as my son and my Ebt Food stamps. There was constant fights, verbal and physical, constant stealing, Timed three minute showers And lots and lots of chores. I don't know what cleaning the rat cage or picking up dog shit has to do with having a better life or being a christian. I had a severe panic attack and had to be taken to the ER where they forced me to take a drug test and told me I must be on drugs until they realized the drug test came back negative. Even though it came back negative I was still kicked out, they literally left me in the pouring rain, in winter, in pajamas on the side of the road on the way Home from the hospital. They refused to let me get Any of my belongings from the house. They stole And destroyed everything I had to my name; from my food and drink items to Clothing, bedding, priceless valuable possessions such as pictures with my son, and my deceased brother. When I came back to retrieve my items They laughed at me and threatened to call the police for me Being on the premises. They told me I was not allowed at the church As well. They claim to be Christian yet kick people out of God's house? Diane Wheeler called my family at 2 AM Scolding my mother about what a horrible human being I Am. She lied, and claimed she found all kinds of drugs on me yet Could not provide any proof Of any kind. The day after I tried to contact one of the other "staff" Members ( An ex drug addict Who just joined a week after me) She was told if she or Anyone else Had any contact with me they would be kicked out of the program as well. Pam was told Destroy all of my stuff. Everything I owned. They never allowed me to speak with my lawyer, I was not allowed to use the phone, I was not allowed to see my son or my family I was treated like a prisoner They pray on people who are truly in Desperate need of Help. This place needs to be shut down For Their fraudulent behavior and neglect. I have watched them kick out For simply trying to see their family or even get medical help. What disgusting Miserable people they have to be. I will be contacting a lawyer for how I was treated there and For compensation for everything that they stole and destroyed I can't wait for judgment day.

They had a pretty freaky lady security guard when they first opened... she didnt last. (Freaky? While inspecting a piece of luggage I noticed a ten year old obsolete and broken handheld video game inside... looked at it, laughed thinking who would want a bulky old DS for FREE even with your phone having free games with 10x better grafix and put the bag back on the shelf as I found it. She must have come to some weird conclusion as I saw her pick up the bag a minute later then disappear. Then return shortly and tail me around but try badly not to look so till i left (after making a purchase). And repeat this "diligence" every week I returned for a month.) I mention this out of amusement not spite as I got a kick out of her trying to look so hard not following me while following me.(ever seen that cheech and chong movie where cheech keeps getting caught leering at girls in the gym... quickly looks away, points at a wall.. talks to himself? Like that.) Some people... take their job way... too seriously. Been hitting 3 goodwills a week or so for 30 years now, and spent a lot of dough there. Never seen that before. Special needs? Thanks to goodwill she is back in the workforce. Anyway this location is a winner tho havent found the goodies typical of the santee and home ave locations... tho picked up a pair of Alesis monitor one speakers (msrp new $550) for $25. I like!

My interaction was no different. The selection will be varied as with any used bookstore, but they have quite a lot on offer for the small space they occupy and I ended up leaving with four books, myself. Plus it is a lot more guilt free ending up disliking a book you got for a buck fifty than a book you paid upwards of $16 for. It can also be a great source for those who want an inexpensive book that they won't mind using for an art project like book page origami or blackout poetry, since they have tons of mass produced paperbacks. The location they're in is also ideal since right next door there are amazing cupcakes, plus a coffee shop within the same mall. And the Santee Library is right there if you're local and have a library card. Super easy area to kill an hour or two in.
