We’re a small operation and we like it that way. With only 30 and a half stalls (the half is a small cozy stall perfect for a miniature horse) available for long and short term boarding, we get to know all of the horses and their owners well. Willow Run Stables is a supportive community filled with good-hearted folks who love their horses beyond all reasonable measure. You’ll find a warm welcome here and a staff committed to taking excellent care of your four-legged friend(s). While we are a longterm boarding facility for 20 horses, we maintain an 8-stall barn for multi-use short term stays. We have also have a small 2-stall harmony hut that is available for nightly rental when we aren’t using it to quarantine a new incoming member of our longterm community. All short term stay horses and their owners have access to ride on all of our trails while boarding on our property.

Not only does the center have a great pool but also 2 water slides, diving board, a splash area, and water rock climbing wall. The different areas of the pool is divided by water ropes and there are lifeguards assigned to each area to ensure the safety of patrons. There are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas if you want to read or take a cat nap while there. There is a picnic area and also a small playground and sand volleyball if that tickles your fancy. The bathrooms were spotless and had showers and changing areas. Due to the event being private we had catered food but there is a concession stand to buy snacks and food while at the center if need be. This is a great place to bring the whole family for water fun!

The driving range was also pretty cheap for buckets of balls - it would be a fun afternoon to bring the dads for driving range, the kids for mini golf and the moms can eat food and hang or enjoy the range as well. The food looked good, but we did not partake - the drinks were decently well priced - a can of beer 3.50 - a sway was 6 bucks. They have free concerts every now and then at their art installation, which is pretty cool, I also think it's cool how they do 5 buck Mondays. The staff was nice enough, my only complaint is the grass was a little overgrown, so we got ate up with chiggers and skeeters.

You know how you run across people who are working in the field they are truly gifted for and meant to be in? George and Judy are the real deal. True skilled horsemen and gifted teachers. My daughter is 9 years old and has had several beginner lessons prior to today. None of the lessons we took else where included much about safety. George began the lesson thouroughly educating us about how to be safe with the horses and what to do if you run into trouble. The fact that he covered these things first was a sign of his dedication and care for his students and for the horses. He was a fun instructor who is actually teaching, and teaching from a lifetime of experience. He and his wife gave their full attention to the class and work great as a team. Their knowledge and experience is inspiring. George and his wife are naturally gifted teachers. We got more out of this lesson than out of all our previous lessons combined and multiplied. My daughter smiled so much and felt proud after her lesson and excited to come back. She even asked if we could just camp out there & stay! She also said on the way home, "Mom, on a scale of 1-5, the other lessons were a 1, and this lesson was a one million!" The facilitators are friendly, the place is beautiful, the horses well cared for, and the price is a steal for what you will gain from the lessons here. I can't say enough positive things about our experience and about East Fork Stables. In addition, I really like the way they schedule the classes. Calling on Friday morning to set it up only takes a few minutes. This is great in case of bad weather or other possible interruptions. If you are looking for a super educational, fun, and safe horse back ridding lesson this is the place. read more

It is one of those places that reminds you not to underestimate Ohio's natural beauty. There are hiking challenges too you can sign up for prizes. There is a really cute nature themed playground that is perfect for kids. This place also makes an amazing venue for events. You can rent spaces for parties or weddings, which is my dream venue. The welcome center is one of my favorite parts. They have live animals that are very well cared for, including rehabilitated raptors, which is so cool to see up close. There is also a large gift shop, a cozy lounging area, and coffee from Coffee Emporium available to buy. It is a great place to relax and take everything in, especially if you enjoy birdwatching. They also host seasonal events, and their Christmas lights event is one of my favorites. It really brings the whole place to life in a special way. The staff here are consistently kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to talk with you. They are always willing to answer questions and make the experience even better. Overall, this is such a peaceful, educational, and well maintained place. Definitely somewhere you can keep coming back to and still enjoy every time.

There are stops along the way: several bonfires, a gift shop, live music, interactive light displays, and a historic home you can walk through. It's $20 per adult and $8 per child, with a small savings for members. We'd love to go back during the summer months, perhaps for another one of their many events.

Then the manager then harassed our group when the two pulled their kayaks up through a different "end point", and transported them to their facility. (To pick up the rest of our people). 10/10 times I do not recommend. The staff is terrible. The manager was rude and irrational. 600$ spent for a horrible experience. If you plan on kayaking the Little Miami....it would be a good idea to look for a different rental company or buy a cheap kayak. There are several places to launch and dock without using this service.
