What I enjoy most is the opportunity to make photographs and videos of the wonderful wildlife found so abundantly there from Canadian Geese and woodpeckers, to fox and deer. Not to mention the frolicking squirrels. The park is well maintained, run and appreciated by all. A little sanctuary from a busy, bustling life, in the stillness, tranquility and wonderful, warmth of mother nature's embrace. Many thanks to all involved in making it possible and keeping it going. It's a priceless treasure I think we all take for granted when we should be thanking our lucky stars each and every day.

This Waterworks park is named…read morefor the fact that the low end of the lake is the Fairfield Waterworks, where they're pumping the water and filtering it and probably adding fluoride and such, and pumping it to your homes. So don't go peeing in the lake, okay?! They have public restrooms set up by the side of the lake so you don't have to do that. The restrooms look like concrete bunkers, filled with crude graffiti. There's swimming in the lake, with a cordoned off area with buoys and a beach volleyball net and some picnic areas. There's some trails that go around the lake. Waterworks Park has ample parking and good signage to let you know where to park and where to go. It's a nice green park with lots of grass and trees for shade. There's plenty to see and do around here. It seems like it'd be fun to ride horses around here!

I didnt get to see inside the building, but the rock climbing literally has boards nailed to it so its closed I guess. No mask requirements but I mean the only thing you can do it walk through paths, everythings out of order or closed. They have benches everywhere so you can enjoy the view of the many closed sites. If you want a workout rather then an experience, here's your wet dream.

The tennis courts take up about half the gym & you have to walk behind an awkward curtain down a narrow path to get to the rest of the gym. There's a rock climbing wall with daily instruction (locked up when no instructor around). There are a few cardio machines & a decent weight rack. They did buy a few maces which I tend to use every time I'm there. They have a wall of Indian clubs & a tall rack of medicine balls, as well as a good spot to do TRX workouts off of a solid tower with multiple spots & heights to do pull-ups. The heavybag is pretty light & it's on a so-so stand that prevents movement around it for practicing technique & footwork. There's a small matted area for wrestling & jiu jitsu drills, but not much in the way of keeping it clean to avoid staff/MRSA/ring worm since people walk across it regularly. They have a lot of equipment behind the front desk that they'll loan out for your ID or keys. Boxing gloves, focus mitts, fencing jackets, skis, bikes, tents, tennis/badminton rackets, pickleball & ping pong paddles. My biggest gripe is that it doesn't seem to cater to the students at MUM, but to the senior citizens of the community or teachers. The locker room is small with 2 showers & is hotter & more humid than Hades in the summer months.

It's such a throwback to the 50s, maybe 60s? It's a complete time warp. I went on bowling night and got to see the very competitive and very serious nature of bowling league. Again, it seem like such a throwback to me. All the decorations, the carpet, the pinball machines, the paint on the wall, the bar haven't been updated in many many many many many years. It's absolutely amazing! The bar was dank, dark, very old but the drinks were very cheap as well and the bartender was very friendly. It's such an awesome place for it's complete disregard on keeping up with the times. It's authentic. Big fan!

We mainly come here for weightlifting and it's got everything we need. As a member, you get a key fob and you can come in any time you want. You get that neighborhood gym feel rather than a big chain gym where you have to wait for equipment or battle the crowds. Sometimes if it's just us, we'll hook up our music to the Bluetooth sound system and get our workout in. Overall, we are very happy with this gym as it's convenient, reasonably priced, and bonus: you can even go in on holidays since it's 24/7!
