I will start that the floors look good…read more I was verbally disrespected by this company. There was a lack of communication and timing of the entire process. In the beginning, I was not told this would be a two day job. They were late on both days of this job. The time was underestimated each day for the job. They parked illegally in a driveway, blocking two cars access to leave. They left the floors dirty and did not clean up. I wish I would have known that I could have to clean up after them, so I could have planned this additional work. They left the heater at 76 degrees for two days WITHOUT asking me. I had to rush an hour's drive just to turn off the heat. The gas bill will be very high. I was not told that my electricity would be used for this service of floor repair. I was not told that the heater would run for two days. I debated to put 3 stars for the good looking floor, but the cons outnumber the pros.

When Tao first came by for a free estimate, he had great suggestions to make the space look larger and more open. We wanted to try to match the existing hardwood floors we already had as much as possible. Tao immediately knew what kind of floors to use and he even had samples on hand so that I could compare them with our current floors. Tao's estimate was very reasonable and comparable to other companies I reached out to. I went with Tao because of his background as a designer and I trusted he would make sure the floors look great! It ended up being a great decision because we are very happy with our new floors! The installation process was very smooth and even finished earlier than expected. The crew was very respectful of our home and did a great job keeping the house clean after their work was done. Any minor issues I found during installation were immediately remedied by the team without any issue. Overall, I would highly recommend reaching out to Tao for your next flooring project!

The said they could do it, and we agreed on a fee for leveling the floor. Great. But then they didn't level the floor. The installer said it wasn't necessary when I came home and he was 3/4 done with the floor. When I complained about the final result, they didn't offer to take up the flooring and level it to make it right. They did remove the charge for leveling the floor but otherwise charged us full price for the install. 6 years later and our floor has been awful ever since Day 1 and I still hate how bouncy it is in many spots and its now starting to pull apart. I already need to pay for a new floor when should have lasted 15 years or more. I will say everyone we spoke with was kind and never rude, even if they didn't offer to make it right.

This person 'Nathanial G' talks about red flags yet there are several red flags within their review which one can tell make it a completely bogus review and a misuse of Yelp... For starters 'Nathanial' claims Matts license expired in 2012.... Not true you can look on the governments website and do a CSL search and see that he is a licensed unrestricted supervisor which requires a state exam and continued education credits for renewal, unlike the HIC you mention which anyone from any walk of life can pay for online..... You can see from the date that he is well within his renewal period under Mass State regulations. Shows you've hardly done your research and are most likely a person that got a quote they didn't like... Red flag number 2, there are no pending litigations in public court under any of the names you've mentioned be it company or personal names. What kind of person has to make up false claims? Again, probably someone who they declined to work for and who didn't take it well. Red flag number 3, Matts service to this country is well documented and public record as well. Not that I care to disparage 'McDonalds Janitors' like you have, which is extremely rude and disrespectful to those who do work there but he went directly from the military to becoming a licensed contractor which if you dealt with him at all you would be well aware of. Just shows yet again you've had zero dealings with him and your review is a disgusting misuse of a good tool for everyday people.
