So, we looked up a nearby laundromat and ended up at Speedy Duds. When we entered, the owner, Jose, greeted us with a warm welcome. After we told him that we were from out of the area and explained why we were there, he offered to pay for the dryer we had selected. We refused to allow him to lose money on us, but ended up chatting with him about our families until our laundry was literally finished drying. In short, Jose is a dedicated owner with his customers' best interests in mind and we recommend everyone to use Speedy Suds Laundromat.

Unfortunately, every visit has been frustrating because the employees consistently come across as uninterested, unhelpful, and like they don't want to be there. On my most recent visit, I told an employee that I wanted to pay for transfer service because I had my two young kids with me and didn't want to have to come back. Instead of explaining the process or telling me what I needed to do next, she provided no guidance at all. It felt like helping customers was an inconvenience. Their transfer service only covers six loads, but I had seven she said they would charge me $2 extra which I said was fine. Because many of the machines were already full, I had to use several smaller washers, which made the situation even more complicated. A little communication and customer service would have gone a long way. My husband usually handles the laundry, and he has complained about the same issues multiple times, so this isn't an isolated experience. We have tried giving this place multiple chances, but after repeated poor customer service, we won't be coming back. Management should consider hiring employees who are willing to help customers and take pride in their work.

No Quarters or bills excepted on machines. But to buy soap or dryer sheets it only takes quarters!? What the heck! Very cold inside, no heat,everyone was wearing their jackets inside. No attendant present, thankfully other customers helped me figure out how to use the card since instructions were lacking. The dryer only works in 10 min intervals, then you have to re start with your card for another 10 mins! Customers are stuck in a most inhospitable laundry mat,timing your own loads ( thats right,no count down timer for you or others to see when your load is done,but it won't be done you'll have to pay again) running over to tap your card every ten minutes on each dryer you use. If this is your best, this is not the profession for you. You are failing big time. The customers you should be serving deserve so much better.
