Then when I meet my kids father he tells me the new director Jasmine told him my kids can not come back because of them crying. I have been there for a long time now and ever since Genesis the old director left, there has been nothing but problems. Over the last month I have been told that my kids couldn't be there due to not having their inhalers that were not expired. Ok, fine. Took me a week to get them. So thats a week they weren't in their care. Then I get them and give them to the school the exact way I received them, only to be called and told to come get my kids due to the boxes not having the labels on them. Ok, called the pharmacy and had to have them printed so the kids could go back to school. Another day out. Then they are there for a week and this is what happens today. Aren't you the ones who should k ow how to calm a tantrum? Don't you're employees go to school and get training on how to handle a tantrum? Then, when I speak to the new director she tells me, " oh I know, I'd be mad too if I was being told this as a parent." Then when asked if they tell all the parents there that they're kids can't be there if they're crying, Jasmine states we are not able to handle it." I am beyond mad and will admit that I did fly off the handle a bit. This place has gone to crap. ​

They know he loves to be active and move around, so the try to tailor lessons to fit his interests. If it involves dinosaurs, they know he will participate :) I feel good leaving him there every morning. He has friends and knows all of his teachers' names. He also enjoys their cooking, which is a plus. I like that the facility has live cameras so I can check in on him throughout the day. His teachers are also good about posting updates in the app, including photos of his activities, how much he ate at lunch, how many times he went the bathroom, etc. Overall, I can't recommend La Petite enough!

Today, our daughter is in the summer camp program and our son will be starting in the kindergarten class soon. Needless to say we've had a long, wonderful, run. Many of the teachers have been there since we arrived. Our son loves walking through the school - all of the staff saying hello to him. They really feel like a part of the family. And shouldn't they - they've been helping to raise our children and prepare them for everything that comes next. The front office staff has always listened to any concerns we've had (our son has special learning needs) and we've been very grateful they've helped us work through a few things - making us feel like they're truly invested in his success and development. Always, but especially during COVID, they've gone to great lengths to clean and create a safe environment, where kids can still be kids, but parents can rest assured precautions are in place.

The staff have always been helpful and the facility has always been well run. My son gets great attention for his needs, never complains about attending, and has made some amazing friends since his arrival! We had 2 previous daycare programs before Wooden Shoe, one private and one "chain". Both were okay, but here my son is getting an amazing experience that he enjoys talking about at the end of each day. It will be sad when he finally leaves for Kindergarten but even then he can still attend their after school program and keep seeing those kids that he has built relationships with. He gets to practice swimming (indoor pool w/ swimming lessons INCLUDED), music, art, education basics, and be active in a safe place. As for some of the negatives I've seen in the reviews: They do fundraisers/book fairs about twice a year and there is NO pressure to perform. The fundraising efforts are minimal and completely able to be ignored if you choose to do so. As for "prayer" they give thanks before eating lunch; they're not receiving communion, theyre not attending service, theyre not getting pressured by nuns to remember the sabbath. We're not a "churchy" family either, but if saying thanks for 5 seconds every day means my son has a safe place where my he can play and learn while his parents work 40 hours a week, Ill take it. Hell, Ill even give some thanks myself.

My child loved her first year here, didn't struggle with goodbyes until she moved into this classroom and she would not want me to leave, one of the teachers walked up and grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her to the other side of the classroom telling her it's time to be at school and made her cry even more. If I could have missed work that day I would have. I do not feel children are safe in that classroom. He never once getting down on her level to try to make her feel comfortable or offer any sort of empathy. She told me she was scared to go every day. My last straw was when my child told me that another kid followed them into the bathroom and touched their private parts. They told the teacher and not only did I NOT get a call from the teachers, and NOT get an an incident report, they told me my child made it up. The office staff was absolutely useless, first claiming to "investigate" which just meant I had to follow up with them for any answer. They said it never happened. One of my child's teachers told my child in front of me that they made it up and that never happened. I had to demand my child was switched to another class room. I do not recommend. My child is still upset about getting touched inappropriately and I hate that it was met with absolutely no support.

From my searches, I haven't been able to find another school that takes a holistic approach to programming while fully engaging the child and providing support and flexibility for parents. I love the themed days the school hosts during various holidays. I enjoy the Spring Fling, the opportunity to take pictures with Santa, the pancake breakfast, and other activities such as the kid-friendly Halloween Trunk-or-Treat event. All the staff have been incredibly kind and supportive of my family. This school is wholly dedicated to the family unit. I have consistently been pleased with the support they've provided us and am thankful for the accommodations! I highly recommend Primrose School at Reunion. You won't find a better school for your child's development, growth, and the support you need as a parent.
