I bought a tallit at the Seforim Nook in September. The first thing I told the owner was: "I want…read morea black-and-white wool tallit, 50" from the attarah to the other end." When I got the tallit home, it turned out to be 47" long. I e-mailed the store promptly, requesting a return/refund, but the owner can't be bothered to make such an arrangement. Not a hint of an apology from the owner. And despite a bogus claim on a phone message that "I tried to refund your money," no such refund has been initiated--now a month and a half after my request. My bank is now disputing the credit card transaction on my behalf. In the meantime, I urge you not to patronize this dishonorable business.

Wonderful Jewish bookstore (and larger than its name would imply). Good selection of books both…read moreHebrew and English at reasonable prices, including selected items from Mossad HaRav Kook, as well as the usual North American frum publishing houses (Artscroll, Feldheim, Menucha, Israel Bookshop, CIS, etc.). The store is clean, well-lit, and very well organized too! (not so common for a Jewish bookstore) The customer service is very friendly & super helpful. Although they have a website & offer free local delivery, I still try to stop in whenever I can.
