Work was performed multiple times without prior approval or any written scope changes. Communication was extremely poor--many of our calls and emails went unanswered, and we often had to follow up repeatedly to get basic information. We also found ourselves continuously having to check if they were doing things properly. For example, they neglected to take moisture readings before removing the drying equipment to ensure that our house was indeed dry. Although they apologized, the same issues continued throughout the project. Dealing with a home mitigation situation is already stressful, and the lack of communication and clarity only made it worse. It is incredibly unsettling not knowing what is happening in your own home. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Harris Restoration, especially for insurance-related work, where clear documentation, transparency, and consistent communication are essential.

I hired this company in 2020 to do a bathroom remodel and replace our woodwork. We had to continually have work redone. They increased the frame size in all my windows which has now caused my custom shades to be 1" narrower than the frame, showing the window on both sides. When they installed our new porcelain tub, they dropped a tool on it and left a large chip. We explained the tub needed replacing or it needed to be re-glazed. They hired a contractor to "paint" our tub, which after 3 uses bubbled. Coast infinity would not respond for correction of this issue as they had received my final payment. In fact, they claimed to have not received my final payment so I sent the payment thru Venmo at their promise to return my check. They cashed the check and would not return the $2500 overpayment. I have now received a judgment against them for this overpayment.

After viewing some of their pictures online and being very impressed with their work, I gave them a call. Darby was quick to respond, met me onsite (around my schedule), and provide an estimate while onsite at his initial visit. He and his better half (his lovely wife Amber) were a joy to work with; friendly, honest and reliable. We couldn't be happier with the quality of work performed. He is very meticulous, making sure every tile was perfectly set before moving on to the next. We will be hiring DTW again to tile our fireplace and floors.
