We had three other professionals come in and all of them confirmed that the roof was put on perfectly and has more than enough ventilation, and their mitigation estimates were less than half of what that first guy was telling us it would cost! We called DaBella back and they sent out their QA guy, James, who spent more time in my attic than all the others combined to make sure the ventilation was sufficient. I am not too proud to admit that I was wrong about DaBella and that I learned a valuable lesson about not just running with the first opinion you get. Thank you, DaBella, Specifically Lindsay and James, for being patient with our frustrations and acting quickly! We were able to get the more accurate information to our buyers and they decided not to bail on us!

So, this summer, we decided to move forward with the plan to be "soakin' for the holidays" three months away. The only thing standing in the way of that dream: the slab and its neighbor had sunk a few extra degrees, roughly three inches, at the far edge. We were going to need to shore up and permanently stabilize this slab if our hopes of the (3-ton when filled) tub were going to materialize. I made a quick call to Terra Firma and they had an estimator out within a few days. The pricing was reasonable and had the standard 50% up front 50% when complete-type contract. Casey arrived spot-on at 8:00am yesterday morning and began doing his magic (the process involves boring 1/2" holes through the slab, then using high pressure and heat to inject a molten expanding foam under the slab.) The foam is rated to support about 5 tons (10,000 pounds) per pound of foam material, and....100 pounds later that whole slab is back to following the prescribed slope perfectly, raising almost three inches on the sunken side. He did a great job and was a great rep for the company, explaining what little was left to explain. He kept me up on the status of the (4-hour) job as he went along--because our slabs had previously cracked, he had to gently lift it up in small sections so as to not have the sections separate further. Perfect job. 24 hours later and the patched holes have dried to almost-invisible (see photos). Unless you know what you're looking for, you can't even really see that repairs were made. Now I just need to fill in the pre-existing cracks with concrete patching caulk and we're ready to schedule the hot tub delivery! Yippee! Thanks Terra Firma!

We were told the hot tub was for "day use only," yet nowhere in the listing did it clearly define specific usage hours before booking. Had these restrictions been clearly and transparently disclosed upfront, we would have chosen a different property that better fit our family's needs. A significant amount of the difference probably had to do with the fact The Heat Pump Store has their own electricians on staff, but we also suspect they do significantly more volume as well as they don't try to do other types of heating and cooling equipment. So based on price and all the other positive reviews we read about them, not to mention how customer service focused and responsive Rhonda was, we went with them. The installation went smoothly, the electricians and installers were friendly and competent, we passed inspection without a hitch, and the minisplit is working great!

After accidentally making a double payment, I contacted Judy immediately with instructions not to deposit the check if it arrived after I paid online. Despite our email exchange, the check was deposited the very next day. It took weeks of back and forth just to get my own money refunded. Now, there's an unapproved above-ground pool installed in a neighbor's backyard that is damaging my fence. I've sent multiple emails with photos, and after weeks, I've yet to receive any response or acknowledgment. This company is a joke. They operate out of their home, and the lack of transparency and accountability is staggering. I strongly believe this management group should be replaced by a professional company that actually communicates, enforces rules fairly, and provides transparency about where our dues are going. I would happily pay more for proper management that takes the responsibilities of an HOA seriously.
