Looking rather modest from the outside, the interior was fairly spacious and decor was fantastic. There was even a decent sized seating area outside which on this occasion was mute due to the atrocious weather. The service was fantastic as you'd expect from a village restaurant. The owner was very pleasant and kindly informed us he once visited when Oldham when we told him we were from up north. The food was fantastic and the recommendations made were immaculate. This after all after a shaky start when I was disgusted by the pathetic excuse for popadoms they served. If you ever find yourself in this sleepy village in Cornwall be sure to visit this place. What's more if you are close enough they;ll even deliver the food to you. I was impressed enough with the food to have it delivered the next night to the cottage. Result!!!!!

We were quickly seated and served. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Decent choice of wine too.
