So I'm not normally one to do these type of posts but let's sit down and hear me out:…read more Yesterday morning I called my local groomer at Nails 2 Tails Grooming located in Hobbsville NC. I called and asked if there was any way I could make an appointment to have my two smaller dogs groomed as I was heading to an event in Sunbury NC. The Owner, hesitant to schedule an appointment said she could squeeze me at 10am. (Mind you, if scheduling me was an inconvenience then I'd rather not be scheduled and I'd rather wait fo great service) Thrilled and excited I immediately headed over there. Now I know this was such short notice but that is no reason to deliver my animals back to me looking like this. I asked to have my border collie mix cut down tighter then what we normally cut her since summer time is here. What I received was a hot dam mess. I had to take both my dogs after spending $85 to another groomer to have them fixed. Upon my dislike, I reached back out to the business owner who took no responsibility for her actions and expressed how I wanted my money back. Well this is how the conversation went. Basically I am in the wrong for not telling her right away, she is only able to give me half off of my next visit assuming that I still wanted to do business with her annnnd that if I felt unhappy I should have called rather then send a message. Needless to say, I will NOT be taking my business back there and I honestly hope people really do their research when it comes to taking your animals to any willy nilly Tom, Dick and Harry for animal care.

They understand that not everyone is financially wealthy and won't try to sell you a bunch of unnecessary stuff. We have been taking our pets here for over twenty years but not consistently because of the driving distance. However, we recently decided the drive was well worth it due to the caring professional care our pets have received at a reasonable cost. Thank you Goose creek staff for being so caring. Best vet in the area in my opinion.

Bored as I would be with that, I walked over to PetSmart to watch the rats and lizards and all. Turns out there was a representative from PAWS there with a kennel full of kittens looking for homes. Needless to say, one of them came home with us that day, and we've been better for it. PAWS did a great job keeping up with the kittens' medical needs, as all of the kittens were already litter trained, had up to date medical exams, and had been fully vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed or neutered. Considering that, they had the adoption fee set at $75, which is pretty reasonable, considering the amount of work they did for you. The animal foster family there that day also had their foster animals on a high quality diet of Innova canned kitten food (our cat's still on Innova, but we switched her to dry food after a few weeks) and seemed to be very well socialized. First of all, I support ANY group that tries to keep animals out of high-kill shelters. Secondly, PAWS makes the adoption process exceptionally easy for any of their animals. And third, they try to find homes for animal stuck in high-kill shelters (I know that's a repeat, but it's important). I honestly don't care where you adopt your pet, since that's one less animal confined to a shelter, but I had to gives PAWS 5 stars for making it especially easy.

The adoption fees were extremely affordable for everything they do for your new family member, and they are extremely responsive to messages and will answer any questions for you. The adoption process itself is very easy and quick with them, and I would highly recommend anyone wanting to rescue to check them out. She had always been sweet, cuddly, not a big barker, and has never shown any aggression towards any age of individuals or animals. Besides her splendid disposition, she was smart, and beautiful. (Groomers always said she could have been a show dog). Stella recently passed away (15 yrs. 9 months) and I want another dog just like her. I highly recommend Marjo breeders!

I bought my beloved Levi from Mario Poodles and deal with Lisa directly. It's been about 7 years…read morenow and when I tell you my dog is top class. Everyone wants him. He is not a yappy dog. If he barks, someone is on my property. He is amazing with kids. I have not had any issues with Levi. He does have an occasional ear infection but that is usually after I take him to the groomers. Most likely them getting water in his ears. He is the most loving dog ever. If he was a big dog, no one could mess with me because he can get a little territorial if someone is in my arms. Let the time I lift my niece up and he lost it and was barking. After a stern chat everything was cool and he loved her too. I know Lisa don't even want to hear my name as I tried to return Levi twice. The first time was within 2 weeks. She gave me my check back. The second time she said, absolutely not. I will take him back but you will not get a refund. And she was right. The nerve of me. Now before you all start saying I am crazy, here is a little back story. First time ever owning a dog and Levi cried the entire night consistently. The puppy was crying, I was crying, the schedule I created didn't work. It was rough. After I was told no refund I just had to suck it up. Took a 10 day vacation from work and stayed home and handled my business. Levi was going through separation anxiety. He was always in an environment with his parents and other dogs. Her I come taking him out of comfort with a schedule and expecting everything to be fine. NOT! I walked him regularly. Had a 2 hr timer set to take him out and as he got older I extended the time and now my baby is the baddest poodle on the block. He actually knows more people than I do. I was actually recommend Marjo poodle to any and everyone! Top quality healthy non yappy dog. I don't know what I would do with this little guy. Oh and when I am sad he knows it and just snuggles up with me all day. And I feel down my steps the first person down the steps to check on me was Levi and he was laughing either. Get you a Marjo poodle! You won't regret it. Just don't say I sent you because she still may be pissed at the fact I tried to return him 2x
