My masseuse Nina was very focused from the beginning of the treatment. She asked me where my problem areas were before the service, and a couple of times again during the service. She asked me if there was any area that needed more attention after she focused on my back, and I told her my shoulders since I work at an office job. I think I'm just greedy I want everything rubbed for a while lol. Anyway she dug in and even climbed the table to apply more pressure at times. She lightened the pressure when I asked her to, and even informed me of where she felt the most knots. I would say if you want bells and whistles, then you may need to go somewhere else. East Acupuncture uses the proper billing codes to treat a variety of issues, in order to be reimbursed for their services. I asked my Veterans Affairs Primary Care Doctor for a chiropractic referral and have been impressed with acupuncture treatments moreover the snap and crack technique. My other functional health chiropractor who uses the activator method highly recommends acupuncture and the two services have worked very well for my body and mind. 2) The whole human is treated with as much time as necessary. How often doctors are expected to treat patients within a 20-minute time block? East Acupuncture allows a full cycle to run its course on each visit. It is time-consuming but relaxing, especially on the belly side. Dr. Jing understands the human channels within men and women and uses needles to unblock energy, which allows blood flow to places of pain. 3) Eastern Medicine coincides with Western Medicine: meaning there is a time and place for both methods. PubMed validates acupuncture. Like Western Medicine, which requires patients to take a pharmaceutical product on a daily basis to be effective, Eastern Medicine expects patients to be treated more quickly if acupuncture, an alternative to pharmaceutics, is routinely provided. Acupuncture requires regular visits to be effective, and another reason why insurance has been so helpful for my healing journey. 4) Dr. Jing has an AMAZING bedside manner, as do her office staff. The staff were friendly, though the overall environment wasn't especially impressive. That said, I really enjoyed my massage. I even fell asleep a couple of times, which almost never happens for me in unfamiliar places. Most importantly, I left feeling much better. This doesn't help with how I feel, but, it is something to keep in mi d for next time. Today is a very hot day and I wanted the grim scrubbed off of me. Nevertheless, the scub can be combined with the massage if you like. 30 Minutes - $40.00 60 Minutes - $60.00 90 Minutes - $100.00 I will say I like the fact this place doesn't show women posing for the camera in tight clothing giving off several suggestive impressions. I just wanted an hour body scrub with a table shower, but this wasn't an option at this business. They do have the option of the hot water and towel in a bucket, bit I have had this experience before and wasn't interested this time around.
