What I think makes him so good is that he seamlessly blends chiropractic techniques with powerful bodywork (ie. massage). He has helped me eradicate shoulder and back pain that beforehand I'd just decided to grin and bear. He is informative, kind, and totally puts you at ease. Aaron is always on time, and not upset when I run in a few minutes late. It's a small office, with a very friendly staff, this is what healthcare should be about.

There is no margin for error. The scan goes to a facility that makes them specifically for you. I forgot the exact amount, but they're in the neighborhood of $300. Call them to double check. Again, these are custom tailored just for you. A very knowledgeable chiropractor with probably over 3 decades of experience helps you personally with the process. He's great! He's the only one who fits your orthotics. This is for anyone who has challenges with their alignment because of their feet. Ex: You receive chiropractic, osteopathic manual therapy, PT or massage therapy and no matter what you feel the treatment doesn't hold up. You know your somatic practitioner is amazing but your feet are preventing the treatments from fully helping you. Or you just have serious problems standing on your feet. I'm both. I receive monthly osteopathic treatment from my Osteopath. A doctor in a hospital. Though not an MD, a DO takes the same amount of schooling. A DO can prescribe medication and they can perform surgery just like an MD. They are not Nurse practitioners. Or PTs. My osteopath specializes in manual therapy. I highly recommend getting orthotics here. It's a great office. If I weren't seeing my osteopath, I would consider seeing the chiropractor who fit my orthotics. He's also the trainer of the gym. The gym is probably great for someone who lives nearby with alignment issues. Great overall environment.

During the initial training sessions you need to do…read morebefore you can use the gym on your own, I felt that the trainer was more concerned about where I put my water bottle down than what my form looked like during an exercise. He would also just sort of walk away while we were counting reps, so I never knew when to start/stop. One time I caught him stretching with his eyes closed when I thought he was watching my form. I also felt fat-shamed, even though I clearly explained up front that I've struggled with eating disorders for years. (Believe me, I already hate myself and feel ashamed, I don't need his help!) I guess some people like it a lot. Honestly, at 62, I felt I was too young too be there! Very nice building and location and friendly support staff. I went about 3-4 times and just didn't go back. No follow-up BTW, even though I am still owed sessions.

I've been seeing him for two years now and every time I go I sit in his waiting room for 20-45 minutes. The irony being that his website says something about not making patients wait because they know your time is important. I have been keeping track of my wait time and my average is 28 minutes. I've seen these in: Arizona, Connecticut, Mexico City (yes, the one in OLD Mexico) etc. etc. And I say without reservation that Dr. Shaver is an excellent hands on chiropractor who does "tune ups" and whoops I need more work in a professional manner. Office runs usually like clockwork, easy parking (the joys of small town) and is friendly and easy to talk to and with.

And if you like an eclectic office, I always enjoy whatever seasonal decor they have. On the practical side, I've seen chiropractors on and off for years. Dr. Mike is great at talking you through everything he is doing, and also has good recommendations for stretches, exercises for strengthening, as well as sort of "micro-chiropractic" things for stuff like jaw pain. I also appreciate the TENS service they offer after. I can feel a little off kilter after an adjustment, and so it is really nice to rest with the electric stim after. Bottom line: it has been easier and more consistent for me to find and maintain better posture and lower my overall pain and headaches since working with Dr. Mike and Julie. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Collins has been treating me since October 2015. My muscles pull my back in different directions, without constant proper alignment I'm in greater pain.
