We found Dr…read more Ginsberg after my daughter's birth trauma and Dr. Ginsberg has been nothing but wonderful provider and listener. My now 6-foot-tall son is 19 years old and still see Dr. Ginsberg! Dr. Ginsberg is easily a 5 out of 5 stars provider, she cares about her patients. She treats her patients with so much respect that my two teens/young adult feels so safe with her. The billing department on the other hand is an absolute nightmare. First, the hold time is ridiculous, once connected, keep your fingers crossed that you are dealing with a staff member that is competent and compassionate and LISTENS! We've had some insurance challenges lately and been talking to the insurance company and then relaying messages back to Allegro since March of 2025. Have dealt with Denise, Lexi and Cassandra, all 3 pleasant and tried their best to help. Lisa, on the other hand is rude and incompetent. As another review mentioned, Lisa does not seem to care. From the get-go of her answering the call, she was telling me "Hold hold hold hold!!!!", "oh oh oh hang on", "let's get to one thing", "just answer my question". Then told me "I am putting you on hold" - all in 5 minutes or less. When I responded with "No, you don't even know what my question is", she said "I am putting you on hold anyway". Today, the office manager Radu called to extend their apology and explained that Lisa was perhaps trying to read the notes on my account? Perhaps, but there is certainly a civil way to tell the customer that. Although, based on other reviews mentioning Lisa in particular, this seems like a pattern of the "I just don't care" behavior. An employee represents the company, in the short 5 minutes conversation, Lisa made us feel unwelcome, unvalued.

It's now 2:30 PM, and we are still waiting to see the doctor. I had informed the office in advance that my daughter has swim lessons at 3:30 PM, but they still told me we would have to wait because the doctor is busy with other patients. This delay has been frustrating, especially when managing two kids' appointments back-to-back and other commitments. Timely appointments are important for families, and I hope the clinic can work on improving wait times.

Just like many others have reported, their billing practices are misleading at best. We were hit with an unexpected $264 charge during a routine annual wellness exam--solely because we answered the doctor's question about whether we had any concerns regarding my son's sinus and allergy issues. For ten years we've asked similar questions, so who knows how many extra charges were slipped into our bills without any disclosure. When I called billing, the representative repeated the same line over and over: "You signed the financial form." I made it clear that I understand my obligations. What I don't accept is being charged for a conversation the doctor initiated, with zero warning that it would be billed as an additional service. If simply responding to a doctor's question costs extra, that should be stated upfront. Instead, they quietly add charges and expect patients to just pay. This is unethical. A responsible provider would say, "We can discuss this, but it will be billed separately." Allegro said nothing--then charged us anyway. We're done. I've learned my lesson, and we'll be taking our business elsewhere. We're looking for a family doctor who doesn't nickel‑and‑dime patients and a billing department that does more than hide behind a signature on a form. Extremely disappointed in Allegro. We will not be returning.

I was told that it would be handled by the next day but when I was told to expect a call or call them, It was impossible to get through to them for the durability of a week. prolong my child's ability to get his broken bone treated. when I left a voicemail expressing the urgency, I never received a call back nor any response or apology for dropping the ball when a child cared for by them had a broken bone. I eventually felt unsafe with them caring for my children and found a much better primary care physician who handled everything in just a day. which is also a previous physician that worked at stepping stone while under the previous management. if the management was still under the previous owners, the rating would be much higher.

The staff is great and so helpful explaining things to me. They work really well with my baby regardless of how well rested he is. Scheduling and payment with insurance is easy. They also were happy to decrease frequency when we made progress and want to make sure that we're set developmentally before completing our time with them. My son probably loves this place the most since there are so many fun toys .

My son has active insurance and Swedish is in the network, but for some reason, the clinic did not send any claim to the insurance and the billing department sent us a bill of $340.00 for this visit. They sent us this bill every month (3 times so far) and each time we contacted the billing department and the clinic, and they supposed to fix it, but we were surprised with a new bill every month. We contacted the insurance company several times and they said we did not receive any claim from Swedish. Also, I checked my insurance account online and I do not see any claim from Swedish pediatric clinic. Finally, we paid $340.00 OUT OF POCKET for just annual wellness check. I scheduled this appointment 2-3 months in advanced and the clinic scanned my son's insurance card. They have enough time to verify the insurance. (this is active insurance), Now, 3 months after the appointment, they still did not send any claim to the insurance, and I end up paying $340.00 out of pocket. I am really disappointed with this clinic; I never go there again or recommend it to anybody.

As others have noted, there is free parking and the office staff are friendly. We took our daughter there for years and were basically happy. However, I would not recommend if your child develops anything more complicated than bronchitis. When our daughter became ill with what at first appeared to be a "stomach flu" but persisted for several weeks, they minimized her suffering, told us she would be fine and to come back in a week if she was still having problems. They did not take us seriously even as our daughter lost weight and stopped being able to eat without feeling nauseous. We saw two different doctors there in addition to our primary doc because the primary was never available after the first visit. Eventually (more than three weeks after our first visit), after they finally sent her for tests, they found she was, in fact ill and it was serious after she went more than three weeks without help. Fast forward a few months and she started having different symptoms. They again minimized her symptoms and told us to come back if it continued. This time, I took her to a different doc in a different practice because I had had enough. The new doctor worriedly sent her for tests on her first visit and found that she had developed another serious condition that was brought on by her previous illness. I'm not listing the doctors' names in here because we saw three different doctors during this ordeal. The one that finally ordered the tests was Dr. Fillipo, if that helps, but we only saw him once and that was three weeks after our first visit. I rarely write reviews and typically avoid writing negative reviews, and as long as your child is normal and healthy, you will probably be fine here. At the first sign of anything serious or odd, I would run, don't walk to a different doctor's office. Edit: edited to remove specific, personal information
