My review goes from way back, but in my brief experiences with Eastview, it's been all good. I'm reading the other reviews here and $37 for a large double pepperoni is out of this world, but (and this will definitely date me here) the last time I had pizza from here was when they had $1 slices wrapped in foil that were freakin' delicious! This honestly was about 20 years ago, which is incredible how it's been that long, but even with a substantial price increase (let's just assume $4?) It would still be worth it. Whenever I'm in Ottawa next, if I find myself close by I might drop in. It was good pizza. A lot of comments about all Ottawa pizza tastes the same, and there definitely is a style for the pizza from there, but I like it! We don't get that style of pie here in Toronto. read more

This is, by far, the best pizza takeout in this side of town. I used to pass on pizza when ordering in, until I tried Eastview. It was recommended by a friend, no regrets. First, it is a family run place and at least one of the owners is always there. The quality of the ingredients is top notch, vegetables always fresh, real cheese, fresh crust. Friendly service on the phone and fast delivery. I always ask for different combos, like vegetarian without onion and extra feta cheese, or thin crust and easy cheese, they never made mistakes so far. A few people have told me that Eastview is the best pizza in Ottawa, and I don't know what they're talking about. I was on just-eat, craving pizza when I saw this place so I had to order it. I got a large combination pizza, it was PRICEY, $27 in total and that's a lot if you ask me considering there are many more affordable options with pizza that tastes exactly the same. The pizza was big, they were pretty generous with their toppings which is nice, but just like every other pizza place in Ottawa it was nothing special. The dough is the same, the sauce is the same and they use that same pepperoni with the weird taste, hopefully everyone from outside of Ottawa knows what I mean. On the plus side the delivery was fast and friendly and they had no problem with my half combination half Hawaiian request. If anyone can suggest me a place that doesn't taste identical to every other place here I would love it. A good pizza place shouldn't require dipping sauces to make it edible... read more

Eastview actually has really good pizza, but I don't really think it has that great of a selection. Their toppings are pretty standard, nothing crazy here - pretty much the same as all the other pizza places in Ottawa. They do have sandwiches, subs, burgers, pasta, and other munchies. They have a really wide selection of these foods, and I think they take up more of the menu than pizza actually does. It's the same as the pizza, though - nothing really special or out of the ordinary about the specific menu items, it's just that you have more to choose from. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. The delivery driver was rude, handed me the receipt just to get a tip because I stated I would tip once I checked my order was right. He didn't say one word, just handed me the receipt. I took my food and said thanks so much, proceeded to close my door as I decided I wasn't tipping him for his lack of customer service and he made a rude grunting noise to me so I slammed my door. I ordered chicken Parmesan and pasta and the pasta was so over cooked it was like chef boyardee in the tin and the sauce had a weird metal taste to it. The chicken Parmesan was soggy and the chicken inside tasted like soggy cardboard. The cheese on top was congealed as if it was just blasted in the microwave to reheat. Honestly the food tasted like it had been frozen for weeks and they just nuked it because they were lazy to cook from scratch. I am very happy I didn't tip the driver because once I tasted the food I wanted to vomit. The only plus was I ordered spicy fries which came but were not spicy at all, in fact they were just regular fries that tasted like old grease but were edible. NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN. They have good donairs and cheap pizza slices. Some of the employees are friendly and everything I've bought has been good.

After ordering through JustEat I was given the amount I would pay for my order. Which was $31.53 CAD. I had asked for extra mayo on the side. Which I would have though would not have cost me. When the food arrived, the restaurant had included a cost for the extra mayo in a tiny cup. They did not charge me for extra mayo on my burger nor did they charge me for extra ketchup packets but DID charge me $1.70 for the mayo on the side. So I called the restaurant and asked why they would charge for the mayo on the side and that I have ordered from numerous restaurants in the recent past and never got charged for extra condiments. They said rudely that they can charge what they want and if I do not want to pay for it, to send it back. This was the manager Nick I was being yelled at by. The extra cost was $1.70 for about a table spoon full, for the record.  Anyhow, so while he is yelling at me, I check my order and I am missing my $4.00 side of onion rings. I proceed to inform that the restaurant is so focused on charging for a spoon full of mayo that they did not send my entire order. He then proceeded to react that is was "not a big deal" and told me he is sending the rings right away. 20 minutes later they arrived. I told him a number of times to stop yelling at me, I asked if he was the owner and he said no, so I asked for the owners name and he told me he was not going to tell me and I will have to call back when he is there to find out for myself. After that he hung up.   I have never ever got yelled at by a business. I WAS a paying customer. I am helping keep them in business just like everyone else who orders from them.   I can only review, but I urge you to think about ordering from someone who does not care about customers and is willing to yell at them over $1.70 table spoon of mayo, and missing items from their order. read more
