I got there after taking 2 buses and was starting to become a bit concerned. I had $40 in my account and was hitchhiking across the country -- after all it was labelled the BEST in the city and that would normally come with a hefty price tag. When I first opened the door I instantly got greeted by the guy behind the counter, which made me feel welcomed and at ease. I looked up to view the selection of sandwiches that they had on offer and potentially the cheaper ones. My Nonna is always telling me how I need to learn Italian to be more connected to our culture and I've always just kindof brushed it off since I haven't needed to use it and we don't speak it much at home, but this has made me so proud to be Italian. Delicious I got the Italian hero sandwich and the wife got the turkey pesto and we shared a regular fry and a dip. Both sandwiches were amazing. Great portion size and deeply flavourful. Like I mentioned we got the regular fry and the bag was basically overflowing with fries. The first were chunky fresh cut and seasoned perfectly. Like a lot of the reviews have stated this place is more of a to go location and to be honest that's more than okay. The owners definitely know the meaning of value for money. And I will for sure be coming back. This restaurant is a must try. Enjoy!
