They dug a 10 foot long trench in my basement floor before concluding that a 78 year old clay pipe was collapsed and the system would have to be rerouted to the main stack. Why not start discussing the rerouting as soon as they saw clay pipe which typically has a lifespan of only 60 years. Is this why they require a downpayment in advance and make you sign for their inflated quotes? As far as I'm concerned they take advantage of people in crisis. My overall opinion Daylight Robbery!

This is what initially made me give them a try. Now, I am so thankful I did! Outstanding service and excellent product choice is what makes this start-up plumbing company stand out from the rest. I was given an accurate quote and received a high quality, user friendly product (the filters are all easily changed by anyone). On the day of installation, I told Tim I was home with my young son, who was sick. Tim not only arrived at a mutually convenient time, he also was thoughtful enough to knock instead of ringing the bell so he wouldn't disturb my son's naptime. It's little courtesies like this that makes Carter Plumbing stand out against the bigger plumbing companies. The installation was completed quickly and professionally, and Tim took the time to fully explain the functioning of the new system and how to easily change the filters. Now that I have experienced drinking water from an r/o system, I will never go back! I finally understand what all the fuss is about. It is the freshest, cleanest tasting water! What shocked me is that even my cats and my dog notice the difference. They drink so much more water since we got the system.
