Made an appointment for next day. Day of visit was charged $20, they said it was for first visit, they would not touch my insurance because they do evaluation and xrays. Ok, $20 is not unreasonable so I paid. The visit is divided in 2 days. First visit: I was evaluated and educated about how they work and got X-rays... was told to make the second appointment so they could go over X-rays and findings. NO ADJUSTMENT DONE. Second visit: This visit was more like a transaction. The chiropractor tells you his findings, he tells you this is a commitment and then they sit you down and go over what your treatment plan will be. My treatment plan was for 32 months and almost $5,000 ... WAIT! I have insurance. They said they called my insurance and they did not cover, I said you are mistaken. I have great Chiropractor coverage. They said they don't take my insurance. WHAT??? I called and you said you did... no, sorry we don't. Ok, so what insurance do you take, only Blue Cross!!!! Perhaps Luna is okay for minor injuries or surgical procedures however, they are totally unprepared…read moreand unequipped for major surgery physical therapy. I had a total knee replacement, and the therapist was not equipped with even the basic PT equipment such as step platforms, non-slip pads, folding chairs, foam rollers, etc. The therapy provided for joint replacement was both ineffective and rather dangerous without proper equipment. Case in point, the therapist used a resistance band that was sized wrong and with no padding and I still have an indentation near my ankle from the resistance band digging into my skin after two weeks. It wasn't a multitude of sessions at all, and I stopped immediately with my surgeon's permission after your therapist injured my ankle. Also, be careful with what you reveal about my sessions as you are venturing into a public HIPAA violation.

They were there to mentor me, help my husband with all necessary preparation for birth. From pouring hot water to the tub to holding my hand to the measurements that were taken. Nothing happened without my permission, everything in the proses of labor was with my agreement and on my time. They had a calm, peaceful attitude and endless amount of patience.. like it should be when a woman is giving birth. They knew how to approach me and what are my mental strengths and knew how to work with me. They took care of every little detail, and trust me- in labor there are no little details! My son's head pumped out with his hand attached to his cheek, and they needed to help with straightening his arm to make it easier on him and me to push him out. They identified that he was in a funny position while he was inside during active labor and instructed me to be in certain positions that will help me to give birth easier and quicker. It was a transformational experience that I already want to experience again- and my husband and I have no doubt about doing this with Fadwah and Lauren once again. I've been treated like a goddess, like a birthing queen, like an empowered woman and I knew throughout the whole labor that I got this. Fadwah works with your mindset, with YOUR GOALS and your birth plan- it's all about you. I strongly recommend to choose this harmonious team (and also my doula Gina), that worked so well together throughout the whole time (and it was long enough). Also, the team was extremely professional once the baby was born, there was a very structured process of measurements for me and for the baby. I needed a few stitches since I had a few tears, and it was all taken care of immediately. I chose to not vaccinate my child in the day of birth so all the other measurements were taken right away other the the vaccines. The team did not leave my home before I was fed and taught me how to make my baby latch. They cleaned the whole house, and left my home many hours after labor, after they washed the dishes and dirty bloody towels from birth. Fadwah helps me to take a shower and took care of me even though the team was already tired- they didn't leave me until I was completely settled and relaxed. There is no way to express the comfort in this kind of treatment. I didn't expect that, and I'm still overwhelmed by it. Waking up to a super clean house the day after birth- when you can even imagine cleaning- and see that everything is so clean... ohhh that's just amazing! What ever it is that you expect- it will be beyond your expectations. They came back to visit me the day after, then two days after and a week after the birth to do a follow up. There is also a month after follow up. To me this is a 10* star service. Fadwah and Lauren treated me as a sister, as a daughter, as a friend and as a woman that can do everything I put in my mind to.
