With due respect I would like say please avoid financing with this company as you can definitely find better options if you explore. Here is my negative experience with company. I already locked my rate with wellfargo but still thought of choosing Advisa because my builder Gehan Homes said they will only provide incenteves if we choose Advisa as lender. But the catch is Advisa charges much Higher interest rates than others in the market and also they charged me around 19K as points for matching the rate same as wellsfargo out of which I agreed to pay 10k and remaining Gehan promised to help it. With this agreement I paid around 6k for locking interest for which Advisa said it will add to my closing costs. Now with the same Gehan Builder, with in the same community I had to transfer my home as I have some better options within the same price range. When I spoke to Advisa company they are now saying that I will be losing all my 6k and also rate lock. They really didn't disclose this to me when locking the interest rate other wise I wouldn't had paid 6k to lock the rate. I really feel This company is no way customer friendly and they will always try say one thing and do other things. This company tied up with Gehan and pretends that Gehan is helping us with incentives but this company charges us so much in points and so much in interest and to break even all those incentives. I tried asking them that I will choose Advisa as my mortgage company even for the new home and their secondary is not agreeing to pay or transfer the 6k amount to new home. I did fell in to the trap of Gehan Homes and Advisa company and please do your math before you think you are getting nice incentives. I wish this company improves their business principles by helping customers instead of finding ways to cash the customers. Once again THINK BEFORE YOU CHOOSE ADVISA.

My wife spent a year dealing with these idiots. Their customer service sucks and their right hand doesn't know what their left hand is doing. We finally got is sorted out, however, they initiated an impound. Another year later and we get a letter saying they are readjusting our yearly taxes and now want a $2,000 reserve. We've decided to consult with an attorney. We never pay anything late, and our FICO is o er 800. They are scam artists.

I'm a…read morelisting broker and the buyers agent brought a pre-approval letter from Mission Mortgage and told us to that he could get the loan approved in 2 months. We were reluctant, but agreed. My mistake. Everything blew up at the end so I asked for a meeting between myself, the buyers agent and the principals. The lender sat with me and told myself and the buyers agent what he would need to get the transaction complete and 30 minutes after we left, he calls and tells me "Oh I made a mistake, the underwriter says she can't do that". The buyers agent emails later and says "please send a PDF of everything the buyer sent you back to the buyer. He sends it to the buyer, the buyers agent and myseld. A confidential, financial package that I had no business seeing. Horrible experience. Be warned. I will advise any client to pass over an offer with Mission Mortgage on it.

I have no idea how I found BBMC, but they were quick, sharp, and took time to answer every question I had. They found me a great loan and a good rate when banks, rocket mortgage, and all those other loan places you see advertised everywhere couldn't do a thing for me. Overall, getting a mortgage or refinancing sucks. You have to shop around like you're buying a car…read more In my experience, mortgage lenders are basically used car salesmen disguised as bankers. My wife and I were looking to refinance our mortgage to get rid of PMI. Our realtor recommended HomeVantage. Colin Gregg was our loan agent. Initially they gave us a good rate and it was competitive with one other offer we got from another lender. The fees were higher than other offers, they charged us a full 1% point. However Colin claimed that we could forgo two mortgage payments with HomeVantage - by not paying our mortgage until we closed on the loan with them. Since they claimed they could get it closed before we'd owe another payment. This was a draw for us....until I called our current lender and they claimed we would be charged late fees if we did that. So I ended up paying for that month and we only got one month with no mortgage payment. This ended up being a pretty big point of contention with them. They also attempted to charge us a fee for a lock extension and did not contact me to explain why this was happening until I refused to sign any more documents. At which time they relented and ate the fee they were charging us for the lock extension, which was not our problem or fault. Pretty sleazy to leave us in the dark while just randomly sending us a form adding money to the loan for not my problem. Communication was poor throughout the process. Multiple times I asked for claims that Colin made in writing via email, and this was never provided because he claimed to be "slammed". We got a decent interest rate but overall I would not recommend HomeVantage. You can do better. We got our original loan from UFCU and I would recommend them.
