The Stuart Green Market began in the late 1990s when rancher and honey maker Pat Bradley brought…read moretogether vendors in Memorial Park on Sunday mornings. Today you can find the Stuart Green Market on Sunday Mornings next to the St. Lucie River waterfront in historic downtown Stuart. All of the items must be handcrafted unlike the Ft. Pierce Green Market which is on Saturdays. It's also smaller than the Ft. Pierce market. Free parking was easy to find. Vendors were selling artisan crafts and handmade jewelry, produce, gourmet foods, and accessories. My favorite item was the Jeff Hinkley Copper Art wind chimes made out of copper, wood, and brass. I might have to go back for one of those. If you can't make it to the market, he also sells on Etsy. I also liked the wooden beach chair plant holders from Jimmy's Woodcrafts. After you shop the market you can listen to live music at the waterfront stage and wander the many unique shops and cafes in downtown Stuart.

This is a nice size market. Comparable to the Fort Pierce Market and there are some same vendors…read morenot all. Fort Pierce Farmers Market is bigger and also has more food vendors and is closer to the water with shade. Both are pretty nice markets in the area! I'm glad I was able to visit both of them while in town. I love the orchids vendor and the homemade purses vendor. My actual favorite one was the vendor who sold gluten free baked items but not for them baked items but the beach chairs that are actually plant holders. They have a band right next to the water from 1-4, so if you come around 12 or 1230 you can check that out too!

Disappointing experience! The fruits were overpriced and not of high quality. The only item worth…read morepurchasing was the Hani honey, which was both high quality and delicious. As for the ambiance, it was quite hot inside (I visited in June, so your experience may differ). The service was decent, but it didn't make up for the other issues. I wouldn't recommend going there unless you're just looking to buy honey. I would give it a 1/10.

I really try to support local when I can. I saw they carry a certain milk so I reached out via…read morefacebook messenger since there's no other option to contact. No one ever responded to the message. The phone number on google is wrong, the phone number that's super small on the website no one ever answered and it doesn't seem like it's meant to even be answered by a human. It just had a generic voicemail and then cuts off. So I drove out to see if they had the item. I arrived, no greeting from the only employee. I found the milk, and I went to pay. The cashier could have cared less I was standing in front of her. Never even said a word, just continued to have a personal phone conversation in Spanish the whole time and never once said hello, thank you, good bye. Nothing. Absolutely unacceptable in todays economy. I will not be back. I'll spend my hard earned money where they will at least acknowledge I'm a paying customer.
