When I escalated this to the management, they refused to speak to me to address the situation. After many days of persistence, Hanuradha spoke to me once, and emailed me once that they can't do anything and they refuse to take liability. Basically saying too bad, and took no responsibility of the mishap, or fixing the issue. Then they just stopped responding altogether. I never got a refund, and I had to hire another accountant to fix their mess ups. They originally speak very politely but stop responding after taking your money and incorrectly filing WITHOUT permission. Don't go to this company regardless of a cheap price.

I was told that tax return for self employed individuals cost $80 when I booked my appointment over the phone.By the time they were done with me, I paid $145. Here's their explanation: $40 for personal tax return + $80 for self employed tax return + $20 for having transportation/vehicle expenses claim. Lucky for me, I did all my receipt and expenses calculations already, otherwise that would have cost me more. I was surprised they didnt start charging for every paper clip and staple they used to prep my tax return!! A bookeeper preps your paperwork, not an accountant. The accountant in the office DOES NOT check the paperwork prior to filing. Next time, I will just purchase a turbotax software and do it myself. Filing with Trehan Accounting office is a complete RIP OFF. PS. The google reviews I found online were written by their own office staff. The fellow who wrote a stellar review on Google Review was actually the bookeeper that did my tax return. What a bunch of crooks!
