I did not expect to go to a Lego store in the one day we were in Grand Junction. I had a lot of things on my radar, but this was on my guy's list for things he wanted to see there. We actually woke up early and came out to e-Bricks right when they opened. This was really surprising. It was an awesome Lego store - randomly in Grand Junction. Now, we've hit a lot of e-brick stores in and around Los Angeles and they are fun. But this one was next level. The huge Lego man out front was cool and inside was the largest Lego display I've seen that wasn't professionally done. Their displays were done with love and fun - reminding you what Lego is about. I ended up super impressed and had a fun time looking at all the things. If you like Lego, it's worth a stop. Pricy sets. Hard to find sets. Great variety. read more

Just took my son to look at Legos at E bricks. Couldn't find parking in the front of the store so went around to the back and saw that there was a parking lot and it said parking for E bricks. Went into the store and was looking around and heard someone from the back say that they needed to call a tow truck because there was a car in their parking lot, I told them that it was my car and that there wasn't any parking in front, and was promptly told that it was employee parking only and that my car was going to be towed, and that there was free parking on 8th Street. I didn't realize that they are doing well enough that they don't need of customers. Will never go there again. Terrible way to treat customers! read more

The store is wonderful, and the staff is great. They love to talk with you if you are in need of Lego information. Their prices are also competitive with on-line sources such a E-bay and are certainly better than Brick-link. Sometimes E-bay's prices are better, sometimes they are not. The internet can't beat the store's displays, which include trains, airplanes, and an insanely awesome Lego castle which rotates themes based on the season of the year and often has a scavenger hunt where you look for various items throughout the display. The castle itself is worth venturing into the store. They also have a large selection of minifigures, not to mention you can purchase just about any Lego piece you could ever need. I too am an "AFOL (Adult Fan of Lego) and have had nothing but great experiences at eBricks. I often over-fill my "Pick a Brick" containers and have never had anyone say anything to me. I certainly know that at REAL Lego stores, such as the one at Downtown Disney, if the lid doesn't fit on the container, they don't let you buy it. Target and Walmart do not have nearly the Lego that eBricks have, and frankly, you are foolish to think they will have better deals. I highly recommend it! read more

We came here five months ago while visiting family. My 4.5 year old son is STILL raving about this store! They have an amazing selection of mini figures, discontinued sets, and vintage items from my childhood. We love it! He was able to get a LEGO Movie set (cool cause the movie came out before he was born, but it's a current favorite and he has really wanted a LEGO Emmett figure). Staff was friendly. Prices are a bit higher than retail, but that's to be expected. read more

The owners of eBricks are some of the most selfless people I've ever encountered. My husband and I came across the deal of a life time for a baby grand piano. We could never afford one at regular price, but the person who sold it to us was desperate to sell it. After shopping around for someone to move the piano for us we couldn't find anyone who would move it for less than what we bought it for. Kenneth let us use the eBricks truck at an unbeatable rate. The one and only type of Lego store that has every part you would ever want or need. I especially like that the owner is cutting his own path with LEGO bricks. Keep up the hard work, it will be worth it. If you've never stopped in you should. It's crazy cool and amazing to see all those little Lego parts. The owner is there 5-6 days a week. read more

Visited eBricks while on a business trip to get some stuff for the kids. Staff was awesome, great selection of displays out of the floor and TONS of hard to find stuff in the display cases and in rows and rows of bins behind the counter. Much better experience than going to a Lego store. read more

After hearing great things about this store from friends and from their Facebook page ("We sell sets at lower prices than the big box stores!" "Buy Legos in bulk, it's by far the cheapest way to buy them!"), I hopped in the car with the wife and drove 4 hours to see this "legendary" store. Yes, 4 hours -- from Provo, Utah, to Grand Junction, Colorado, based on friends reviews and the hype they put out on their Facebook page, with $300 cash, eager to go home with all the Legos I could possibly acquire. Upon arriving at the store, I was disappointed to find out that all of the sets they sell are marked up substantially -- the Lego Delorean sets ($34.99 from Lego.com) were marked $50, the modular cities were marked $200 each ($150 on Amazon and at your local Lego store right now). The newer sets were at least 15% higher than the "big box" stores, with certain sets being substantially higher (Lone Ranger sets were $20 more than what you'd pay at Toys R Us -- TOYS R US for goodness sake!) On top of that, the sets in boxes in the window were sunfaded. Who wants a sunfaded box? While I was browsing, a pair of ladies were picking up a few items in the store. When they approached the counter, they waited patiently.. For 5 minutes, while the proprietors behind the counter played with their phones and goofed around. Finally, one of the ladies said "We're ready whenever you can get around to serving us," to which one of them finally came over and rang them out. Now, on to the bulk pieces. The store had represented itself as a place where you can buy any kind of Lego you want in bulk at the store -- one of the reasons I drove the 4 hours to see the store. When I asked about it, I was told that the majority of the "bulk bricks" they sell are in the Creation Station pits ($15 per cup, if you want to dig through the used parts). When I pressed the guy a bit more, he says he does sell bulk bricks, but they'd be the same price as on his Bricklink (www.bricklink.com) store (which is at least 2 times more expensive than any other Bricklink store). No "Thank you for coming into the store" discount; I might as well have just ordered them online and saved myself a 4 hour drive. Frustrated, I told the guy how far I'd come and that the experience had been very disappointing -- and it was. He shrugged -- didn't even apologize -- and went back to texting on his phone. I left with my wife, we put the $300 back in the bank, and ordered what we wanted, on Bricklink, from our hotel room. The bottom line? It seems that the retail store is nothing more than a front for the company to buy Legos to sell online. They certainly weren't interested in my business today in any fashion -- next time, I'll remember to just order my stuff online, and avoid this store altogether. We stopped in yesterday. My twins had a wonderful time in the store. Many wonderful pieces to see in there. the prices were far better than i was expecting. (I have been purchasing from big box stores). The staff really enjoy working there and that is always an advantage to the customers. We will visit often. read more

They are always very good to me and my 6 year old boy. There has even been a circumstance where we showed up right as they were closing and the store clerk reopened up the front door so that my son could get some toys he was more than ecstatic to be able to go in and still get a toy. Hi All!! I have been going to this store ever since it has been open to the public. It is the only place I have ever been to that has such a wide range of parts for custom creating!! I have to say the creation stations are perfect for finding parts that you did not realize you needed until you see them, and they also have a lot of hard to find parts in the back of their store (as long as you know exactly what you need it is a painless experience)!! read more

I just read in the local newspaper (the Daily Sentinel) that they have probably the world's largest collection of Lego parts. I went there to get my grandson pounds of Lego pieces to add to his collection and the staff was great to work with. They sorted out pieces to fit my grandson's interests, packed them up and shipped them for me. Items in great shape. They just bought 8 million more pieces to sort through but they were very laid back and never rushed me through the process. It was fun and easy. read more

My son and I have been shopping at Ebricks for years. They are always so helpful when it comes to finding old sets, replacing missing pieces or discovering new and fun sets. They go out of the way to make you feel at home and their birthday parties are always a hit. I have seen them go out of their way to help even when it was not Lego related. Very overpriced (details below), and very bad experiences both times I've been there. The employees were rude and unhelpful. I seemed to receive a lukewarm welcome as an adult without children, and when I tried to joke with the employees as a fellow AFOL (Adult Fan Of Lego) , their attitudes turned decidedly hostile. One employee stared rudely at me after I asked a friendly question, then walked away without answering. They weren't only rude to me -- since there were no employees out on the floor, I ended up answering a few people's questions and helping some kids find what they wanted, rather than the actual employees helping them. Both times when I checked out with slightly overfilled Pick-a-Brick containers (which is not only common but is actually recommended by employees at REAL Lego stores), I received rude comments about "trying to cheat them." Seriously? You're employees. You don't make less money if I get a dozen extra scratched-up Lego parts that I'm overpaying for anyway. Additionally, any somewhat-experienced Lego buyer can see that their prices are outrageous. You can drive 2 miles to a Target or Walmart and get many of their sets for 75% of the price. For the ones that aren't in stores anymore, you can go on eBay or Bricklink and get them for 50%-75% of the price. For the minifigures, you can get them on eBay or Bricklink for 50% of the price, almost without exception (even the current series of Collectible Minifigures, available nearly everywhere, are $6 apiece instead of the $4 retail price). Besides Pick-a-Brick, I have no idea why anyone would shop here when they could get on their smartphone and order the same product for much less online. TL;DR: you can get nearly everything they have much more cheaply online. In addition, my experiences were ruined by rude and unhelpful employees who seemed to resent the fact that an adult entered their store without children. read more
